Most of you see it as the only way to get EXP.

Well it's not just that. It is there for people to show a way of support other than commenting with "Good stuff".

People abuse it to get EXP by botting and using proxies which is a BIG no no.

Asking your friends to diamond it and stuff like that is fine but anything like multi-accounts isn't allowed.

To help you out I'll give you examples on what not to do with the diamond system in a list below.
  • Bribery (Stuff like diamond for op or rights.)
  • Make multiple accounts to diamond your work (Even if your friends do it for you. You should tell them no.)
  • Anything to do with Diamond for __________

Doing any of those above will result in punishment ranging from disabled/removed submission and/or a permanent ban.

If you don't do anything in that list then you will have a very enjoyable stay here in the community of PMC (Planet Minecraft)

You should PM a moderator IF you feel that your skin was unjustly
removed. Keep it simple, respectful, and informative, and the issue
should be cleared up fairly quickly.

Diamond abuse is more common on texture packs, because it's easy to find a popular pack and then upload it to PMC.The real, actual problem here is the fact that a large, and I mean a LARGE part of the community is filled with kids.As the attention span of most of them is low,it's not very likely that they will read the rules on what to and what not to post.As for that, the same kids will probably not know how to properly judge the content.Simple packs are the live example, therefore diamonding content that is not even the slightest worth it.

Yeah but uploading popular texture packs is easier to get caught out.

Unoriginal content is usually easy to catch.

True, but there aren't a lot of people who can recognize stolen packs. You would have to be familiar with at least 50 of them.

I have aprox. 72, and I've flagged about 20 copies of mine. It's really easy to bring stolen txt packs down if youve been playing since 1.6.6. It gives you time to get a fine arsenal of txts

*Claps* Good blog, Soul. Sadly they'll always be those one or two people that go against the rest of our good, hard working people, but hopefully others who were contemplating diamond begging or other, rule breaking methods will see this and NOT do it, If anything, awareness needs to be made, cos half the time it seems like they don't read the rules thoroughly. +1
