They may have been removed from 1.8 but I HAZ MCDowngrade! I ventured to the far lands and it is magnificent. A huge wall of just endless cracks. It is better than a stronghold in my opinion. I can't get there :'(
I play on a netbook, with 1GB of RAM and only 1.6GhZ
It is da s**t
My netbook lags too much then crashes when i go too far away from spawn. =(

there are 2 problems here...

1) You need a better computer with better processor and RAM
2) The Far Land glitch was removed in 1.8 so when you get to where the far lands are it is still just normal terrain

I understand both of these, but I was talking about before 1.8
I am hoping to get a new processor soon, as I know of one that is compatable with my computer, and is 2 GhZ. with 2GB of RAM

I'm kinda still doubting you got there legit even though you claim to use the Planes mod, that means you few million blocks, since you suggest SPC I'm thinking you used the teleport command!

i did for ONE of the levels, hence why this when you open it says Far Lands Take 2, because take on was using SPC

why didn't you just use singleplayercommands and teleport there XD
