- Dono t spam, or repeat your messages at all. Ito s lame and irritating for the server owners. Saying something worthwhile will be enough to get noticed.
- Dono t advertise your YouTube channel, or anything else for that matter, on Minecraft servers.
- If a member of o staffo makes you feel small, deals with a situation wrongly or acts all o nit-pickyo , call them up on it. Staff members areno t perfect and they certainly dono t know much more than you. Acknowledge where you went wrong and be polite, but dono t be afraid to criticise their methods if you need to.
- If youo re going to troll, do it like a pro. In other words, dono t be rude or offensive, but have fun and make sure it works on your o victimso .
- Dono t be a sore loser. Accept that you cano t always win, and be gracious in defeat. Ignore the people that areno t.
- Never make unreasonable demands. Dono t ask to become a staff member, or beg people to click your links. This advice especially applies when thereo s a famous YouTuber on the server. Although this is rare, dono t add to the commotion by acting crazy around them.
- As in every situation in life, showing intelligence and maturity improves everything. Youo re improving other peopleso server experiences by acting like a gentleman. Even using slang, swearing or o ro and o uo instead of o areo and o youo just makes it worse. So dono t do that.
- Being a gentleman (or a lady) online is all about coming across as the older character, and using your brain before you type. And advancing technology means that we spend more time chatting online, so this advice applies really applies to lots of situations.
