Today we are going to have a look at a very nice technique, which can be used nearly everywhere for nearly every situation:
Making a huge Cobblestone Monster or short: Cobble Monster.
But first of all: What the heck is a Cobblestone Monster?
Well, it looks a little like this:

Its more or less just a giant cobblestone mountain, built with the very basic mechanism of a cobblestone-generator.
So you only need a water bucket, one lava bucket , a pickaxe of your choice and some cobblestone.
To get started just build a small cobblestone mountain like this:
The block on top of the mountain in the second picture is the place where you stand on if you do this in survival and its also the block where I usually place my water then.
There are many ways to do this and of course you are free to use different patterns, since the only thing it should do is to let the lava flow downwards.
That means just place some lava on top of it only to take it away again after it looks like this:
before the lava disappears again!
So that the flowing lava will get hit by some water and the the monster grows a little bit!
Now you only need to do this several times and you get a bigger and bigger cobble mountain.
So now you know how to build a real cobblestone monster, but how do i use it?
Well, there are many ways how to use it!
For example as a very fast cobble source or (the much better way of using it) as a possibility to get under the bedrock level in skyblock:
Another way to use it (and which I ve seen in a Youtube Video by the user Putty), is to raid a water protected base in Factions like this:
You also can build yourself a very big and safe house with it or just use it in order to grief something or someone with a minimum on ressources.
This is my approach of griefing my own environment and give it some special cobble feeling in singleplayer :D
You see, this cobblestone monster is something really nice and the amount of things you can do with it is just amazing!
I hope you have fun with using this technique and it would be very nice to get a diamond or something from you.
Best Regards,
