While Colony 5 prospered as the River Nation's new capitol, new travelers entered the previously unexplored land. Quin William Edworthson the 903 (Yes you heard right, 903) was one of these travelers; he and his friend, known simply as the Nite Creeper began a small settlement of their own. They built houses for themselves on a cliffside, and immediatly set to work gathering resources. At the same time, another civilization was created, under the name of the Floating Isles. The members of that group of settlers were known as Kyuubi-kitsune and Geather. As the name of their home suggested, they had managed to create several floating islands, including a fortress, farming area, and residential area. These were strategically placed above a deep lake and were connected by narrow bridges. These two groups also communicated with Colony 5, becoming trading partners.
Meanwhile, in the Colony, treachery was taking place. Arcion, whom the others knew little about, and never inquired in the fear of seeming nosy, began to secretly steal from the more wealthy villagers. Mainly Aelux, who was not incredibly worried by the theft.
The two thieves, Lancelot and Demeros, had been seperated after Demeros' battle with Aelux in Colony 1, and gave up on finding each other. Demeros stumbled upon Quin one day, who, as a generous person, allowed Demeros to join the small village that he and Nite Creeper had set up. Demeros honored their gifts by promising never to steal from them. During this period, Lancelot was forced to survive on his own in the wilderness. He quickly built a small farm and a house to live in.
Fate would bring these men together though, when Arcion secretly contacted Lancelot, and the drew up an agreement to bring down Colony 5.
Lancelot, now supplied with information on the whereabouts of the large city, quickly set to work. After stealing just about everything from the city, he escaped on an airship, a new invention that had been created by Aelux and Alunulus. While setting off, he was attacked by Alunulus and Aelux, whom Arcion fended off. When Aelux was thrown from the tower, and survived without a scratch, Arcion became completely sure that he was utilizing some sort of magic for personal gain.
Lancelot had then escaped, and flew across the land, discovering the Floating Isles in the process. He eventually landed near the home of Demeros, Quin, and the Nite Creeper. They took him in, knowing well what he had done and of the anger he had aroused in the River Nation.
After the raid on Colony 5, Alunulus decreed that the River Nation would cease to be, and the settlers went their seperate ways. Shaping the world for events to come...
