Diary,
I absolutely love the cavern. Ito s just so majestic and awe-inspiring! Io m so delighted that Steve, Vaggie and I stumbled upon this gorgeous display of nature.
Morning
Steve sure knows how to make bacon. Io m not all too fond of the meat, but he managed to make it taste absolutely exquisite! I didno t allow Vagabond to see that I was eating a potential friend of hiso he doesno t seem to like it even when I eat eggs. Ah, well. The little sheepo s trying to save all of animal-kind, one hamburger at a time!
Afternoon
We ended up discovering an abandoned shore house. The structure appeared sound enougho actually, incredibly well kept for being a marooned abodeo so we decided on lodging here for the night. I feel a great deal safer inside strong, oak wood walls; however, the caverno s beauty most certainly made up for its lack of fortitude. All that being said, I still hate the dark.
Evening
Holy Tree, huh?
Steve happened to stumble upon a map indicating the existence of an enchanted tree, and despite my guilt of rummaging through other peopleo s belongings, we concluded that we had time to spare, why not investigate the matter further?
The tree wasno t the only news that I had received tonighto ¦ Steve ultimately told me of his girlfriendo s passing not too long ago and naturally, I felt a huge wave of remorse wash over me. I have an inkling that weo re not the only humans that survived to this dayo ¦ If Steve had a girlfriend, there must be more of us out there. Io m hoping that weo ll find some sort of civilization; howevero ¦ Io m really getting to enjoy this man. If we had to repopulate the world, Io m glad weo re the two left to do it.
Oh what am I saying?! Goodnight! Pay that no mind!
Forever embarrassed,
Sarah
