Long ago in a magical sea, not yet discovered. There lived a fish named Ember. She was talented, strong, and most of all, Beautiful. She was an orange Foxface with beautiful yellow spots around her tail, a large black stripe around her face, and silver eyes.
She lived in Fishvill with her best friend Crack the lobster, who looked like a small crab. He was green, seaweed green. He had blue spots on his legs and purple eyes.
She did wonder one thing about Crack. He was researching myths. But why? Little did Ember know that she was about to find out something no one wanted to know. Something that will happen, one weird day.
Ember swam over to the fish school to see Crack was late again. She looked around. Everything was blue because of the haze in the water the sun glowing rays bounced around the water. Ember saw a lot of fish of many colors, red, orange, blue, purple.
She kept looking for Crack, but to her surprise, he was nowhere to be seen.
Where is he? Ember Thought. Why is he late again?
She looked around again; still no sign of Crack. She did see a beautiful purple Mandarin Dragonet. He must be new, Ember thought to herself. She swam over to the purple fish. He had beautiful purple scales all over him, beautiful green fins, and larger scales around his head.
“H- Hi,” Ember said, “I’m Ember, you are?”
“I’m Stunning,” said the fish, “nice to meet you, Ember”
Stunning reached out his fin to shake Ember’s.
Don’t panic. Ember thought to herself as she shook Stunning’s fin.
Finally, Crack showed up bursting into the conversation.
“Hello everyone, Crack is here, don’t worry” Crack yelled as Ember looked at him.
“...Oh hi, Ember!”
“Crack, where have you been? This is the third time you have been late just this week!” Embed asked.
“I'm sorry, I’ve been up all night researching about the Firefish.” Crack replied. “Did you know the firefish had a crazy attack to light up and explode!”
“you know that thing is a myth?” Ember laughed right as the school bell rang.
“See you guys after class!” Ember yelled as she spun around and swam toward the school doors.
Ember swam over to class, her friend Carma was there. Carma was an extraordinary, pink swordfish with light blue fins and green eyes.
“Hi, Ember!” Carma Yelled loudly.
“Hey, Carma.” Ember replied quietly, “Crack’s got me thinking about that darn Firefish again.”
Carma laughed. Their teacher Mr. Fin swam over,
“Shush, you two. Kids are learning.” Mr. Fin said quietly.
“Sorry, Mr. Fin...” Carma whispered to him.
Ember never really paid attention to how Mr. Fin looked. All she knew was that Mr. Fin was an orange Garibaldi with blue eyes and was really annoying.
They all sat down in their seats.
Mr. Fin stood on a small podium. They start class.
“Hello, kids.” Mr. Fin said.
All the kids groaned. The classroom was bright; a long day ahead of Ember. Ember didn’t mind school that much, but she would much rather be at home playing Fish Royale with Crack.
Mr. Fin passed out papers. Then dropped the all when suddenly there was a knock on the door.
