General Packer looked carefully at the map on the monitor, seeming to focus on a single particular spot every 5 minutes. Quite a few of his troops quickly stole a glance at him, trying to figure out what he could be so intent on figuring out. None of them said anything, which brought an awkward silence onto the room. The silence was broken when Sergeant Gale stepped in.

"You called for me sir?", asked Gale.

"Yes, Gale. What do you make of this?", said Packer.

"What, sir?"

"This entire conflict with these...Russian terrorists. There will be no winner, I can already tell that. The war will only end, when both our nations fall. What's the point.."

"I'm not sure, this doesn't make sense. Why wage war with America? They seem to want something from us...Something big.", said Gale

"Maybe...But how do we stop them? We've done just about everything we can. Wait...You have a Special Task Force, correct?"

"Yes sir, Task Force Red", replied Gale

"We could send your men in", reported Packer.

"Are you sure? It could be very risky."

"Well, if you want to win a war, you need to know what risks to take, and this seems like one to make"

"Alright sir, I'll get them ready", said Gale. He started for the door.

"Good luck, Gale"

Gale looked over his shoulder and said, "I don't believe in luck, sir, only skill". He, then, walked out.
