Once upon a time, wait what? Okay, one day a long time ago almost 10,000 years, there was an Ice Age in a game, that game was Minecraft. There was only one character at that time, he was called Steve.

Steve put down his sword, today he would have to leave his house and manage to take all his possessions with him. The glacier had been getting closer each day, but Steve had put off moving for as long as possible. Now that the glacier was as close as it was, he would have to move. He was packing his stuff into the wagon when he swung around, startled he pulled out his sword. His sword, his most treasured item it had saved him so many times and he treasured it. He had been through the hardest of times and slayed the best tasting feasts using the sword. After pulling out the sword, he swung viciously. He then discovered that it had just been the glacier making a move because of the unknown reasons that made it move all the time. After Steve had packed all his belongings, he checked to make sure the house was left in good shape. Then he closed his door, and was off. After just 30 minutes of traveling, he found his old tower. The tower he had built last year, when he lived farther south. He had built the tower to be able to spot zombies that had once terrorized him. He didn’t know about the large ice sheet called the glacier. Now, the tower was just a crumbling stone and wooden structure that was falling apart, still he found his old bow and arrows in it and he took them with him. He felt bad about leaving the tower to be taken by the glacier.

Eventually, after traveling about 50 miles south, Steve found a great place to stay for the night. He made a makeshift bed with some wool and wood and slept under an overhang for the night. When he awoke, he discovered that he could see the glaciers had fully engulfed his house already. He felt a saddening depression creeping up his back, but fought it. Knowing he would need all his energy every day of his life had saved him many times before, and he wouldn’t allow his mind to fail now, especially during such troubling times. As he gathered his belongings, he looked ahead, immediately he was stopped in his tracks. He dropped everything and gaped for a long 10 minutes. He was trapped in a circle of ice. In all directions, there was ice rounding around him, enclosing him. He quickly gathered the most important stuff he had, his sword. Some wool, A bit of wood, an axe, and as much food as he could carry. He then rushed back to his tower. He used it to overlook his soundings. The intensive and extended study only seemed to intensify his fear that he would be crushed by the sheets of ice. The next day he began to climb.

As Steve began to climb, he began to feel sadder than he had ever felt before. It was as if all the facts from yesterday had just hit him. His house, the tower, everything he could remember. Gone. He was having a harder time climbing. Eventually, he found an indent where he could stay the night. He set up his makeshift bed, and set up for the night. 2 hours later, he was brutally awakened by the glaciers moving. He felt like he was falling. But, he realized, he was falling! He quickly grabbed his pick from his belt and jammed it into the ice. Finally catching himself, he gathered his senses. Judging by his surroundings, he had fallen only about 2,000 feet. He began to climb back to his previous position, and after about 5 hours of climbing finally reached it. This time, he tied himself to his pick, which was jammed deep into the ice 10 feet above. When he finally awoke, he realized he had slept through morning. It was already noon! He had to start climbing. He looked around, today was the last day he would be able to climb before he would be crushed.

That night, as Steve continued to climb, he became drowsy. When he finally reached the top, what he saw would change his life forever. Paradice! On the horizon he saw paradise. He didn’t think it was possible in such a cold world, but there were palm trees, beaches, and a region nearly tropical! He then began the treck across the barren landscape towards the horizon. When he got there, he realized it was fake...
