This is a huge blog which will explain the procedures and information on our town. I have shared this to expose new players to join, as our town doesnt have that much people. As you read this, we hope to have comitted players that'll be on almost everyday.

Rules

1. No griefing at all (this rule will be enforced throughout the city)
2. Shops in the city will be allowed, however it wont be shut down unless most items are out of stock
3. All threats towards the Tokoyama-Capital Government will be taken seriously for the safety of our people
4. Outer-City cultures will be permitted unless anti propaganda is used.
5. With other nations in peace with Tokoyama, I ask if you not persuade Tokoyama citizens to change citizenship to yours. If doing so, your nation will be seen as a threat to us and our alliance may be changed to neutral (or enemy, but we never attack)
. Countries that have Embassy's within the city may be shut down.

How to join Tokoyama

Due to my suspicion of griefing and threat to my city, I must have a trust in you or faith that you would do no harm to the cities current condition (since the city is always under construction). To better your status, its nice to either help or contribute ideas to the Tokoyama-government to make the city better for everyone. You may even be granted a higher rank for doing so. Even newly joined players would get access to join the city. But once you join, you are expected to do what you can for the sake of Tokoyama to have a brighter future. Being safe is Tokoyamas #1 priority.

Our goal

We are constantly building up our city in hopes of being a nation some day. Like in real life, we have a lifestyle in which most people can choose to follow in this city (staying on the sidewalk is one, but its not enforced). But we're really trying to start a sort-of *second life* for all citizens. Life outside Tokoyama would be completely different to life within the city itself. Driving will be a mode of transportation on the streets, locking them in parking spots will be helpful for traffic purposes (The Tokoyama-Intercity Subway line will also be available). You will be able to experience a minecraft culture as well as a real life order of things. When we are successful, we will be able to guide our world capital culture to the rest of the Minecraft race.

City Government

We are a Monarch-Democracy as known that the Mayor can really make the final decision. However, decisions will be made if the people agree its ok, we will not ruin the peoples way of life by what one person thinks is ok. So in a way, everyone in the city is a administrator of the great city. And dont be afraid to ask any questions to the emporer (isaiahs11) or any person of higher status. You will not be penalized unless you violate the common and uncommon rules of Tokoyama Law.

What you'll expect

You will find a good variety of stores and houses of different architecture and creativity of the joining citizens. Your mark on the city will really impact the reputation of the city. So try your best to create a image of yourself in the city for all to know and admire.
You will also expect a high volume of real life tendencies such as law and modernization. So in a way, its like if you actually live in a city in real life. Roleplaying is also advised IF YOU WANT. We are far from a barbarian type lifestyle like outside the city with pvp, raids, and worry of dying. Dying is almost a foreign act in our City.
You may also experience walls within the city, this just organizes the neighborhoods and safe-havens in case of an attack.

Joining our city will not only impact the aspects within our civilization, but the outside world as well

Tokoyama News 7/17/14

As the city gets more crowded upon buildings above ground, I am beginning to create the Tokoyama-Intercity Subway line under the thriving neighborhood of Naiyobu Docks. Due to a mess of resources it'll take some time to create the first Terminal of the first Subway line. As the town gets bigger the Train line will proceed to the major avenues outside of plot areas. Making sure the train doesnt run under someones plot, it will be only under the city street which is owned by the Tokoyama Government. 

In other news, the farming expansion has begun as new crops have been auctioned and brought by Emperor Isaiahs11 . This will be a benefit for all newcomers interested in trade and living here. A shop will be made as soon as possible.

Update 7/29/14

 I would just like to thank my citizens for reaching the milestone of 15 people! We are active alot on the server and we treat newcomers as our own once they join. We are a grand community and we tend to trade and share plenty. With this kind of attitude we will become both a wealthy and creative city-state that everyone would admire. 

If you'd like to join this community you MUST be a new player. People who have been on for a long period of time is known to be a threat especially if you attempt to tp to our citizens (including me). 
However it is NOT impossible. If you'd like to join, talk to isaiahs11 and ill think about it.

News on the subway: We are nearly 50% complete with the trains expansion for its second station on Xiaoku Meadows Lane and the Naiyobu Wall. This will give the convenience of traveling quicker to more remote parts of town. 



Hello readers of the Tokoyama News thread, there are new additions that will be added to this modern city. We are glad to inform that all people of any nation are permitted within the Tokoyama Metropolitan area, and will be able to have access to these new additions.

If you didnt know, Tokoyama will be creating a huge Arena in support of those willing to fight for fun or intense competition. Following through this, we will have a city-state military with an army base to train for battle and conflict. In order to reach maximum power however, you will need god. They will be the elite force for our army. This is just a safety precaution in case of attacks, however we still dont participate in Towny wars.

Aside from that, we are in alliance with the very close neighboring town of Anembra! We promise as a town to assist them in aid in case of issues such as shortages of material or being pestered by other towns. Tokoyama has had its time of sorrow and struggle but we have grown from the past and accept all for who they are. We will try to not let other towns follow the same road to growth by fights and war.

This city has became quiet and peaceful, but what Tokoyama was really looking for was a crowd of committed players that are on almost everyday. I have heard that some people dont agree with the Tax idea, but heres a reason why this benefits you as a player and the town. When we see new players, we welcome them in message. Trying to give a more personal approach for others to join the city without countless spam of invites. We do this to show them what their getting into and how they can get acclimated to the server without figuring out themselves. While teaching them the basics, what comes in their minds next is, "how do I make money?". And im glad they asked, because its a big part on insuring your stay on JingoMCS. Many new players join then leave on the first day and never return, we dont want that in Tokoyama. But it becomes a pain to see a person leave without experiencing the town for themselves. So since people can make 35,000$ on the server everyday, why not pay the tax? It will be helping us and you at the same time.

With the addition to chest shops, we can finally reveal the true picture of Tokoyama. Before this, towns like Tokoyama have just been residential areas with an arena along with the premier citizens who bought trade signs. No longer. All people of the server have the freedom to create shops to earn their own cash and sell their treasures. Tokoyama will be opening 4 businesses around the current size of the city, which will include....

1. The Zaseki Clothing Department Store (In control of the IH company, or "HI".)
2. The Xiaoku Meadows General Store (Near Naiyobu Docks)
3. The Little Haikashi Shopping Mall (A Beach Side Mall on Beachwood Avenue)
4. Hanoko Center of the Creative Arts (Across the street of city hall)
