So this new block mysteriously cropped up in the 1.2 update, and nobody quite knows what it is. The block has 2 textures. On one side, there are 4 different images, a creeper face and a villager are clearly visable, the third image is possibly an eye, and the fourth one is just a square. The 2nd texture, which appears on the top and bottom is some sort of of tornado like picture. However, there seem to be eyes of sorts in the middle, suggesting a sort of desert type blaze maybe. Of course this is all just speculation, and rumours spread far and wide, including possible desert strongholds.
