Chapter 1 The bus incident
"Aubrey Jennings! Get down here!", Aubrey's mother yelled. "You have to be at the bus stop in five minutes and you're not even dressed!". "Sorry mom! I'll be ready in a second!", Aubrey replied. Aubrey was dressed in her favourite black beanie hat that said '"bad hair day" on the front, a light gray shirt with dark red baggy sleeves that said "Sup bro" on the front, black skinney jeans, grey knee socks with moustaches on them and black high tops with white laces. As you can see, Aubrey isn't really what you would call "fancy". Aubrey made her way down the long staircase and entered the kitchen. "I made you toast, it's on the table.", Aubrey's mother told her. Aubrey sat down at the the table and ate her toast. "You've got only 3 minutes to get ready Aubrey! Hurry up!", her mother snapped. Aubrey finished her toast and placed the plate on the counter. "Bye! Love you!", Aubrey said to her mother. "Goodbye" her mother replied. Aubrey grabbed her bookbag and made her way out the door to the bus stop. Aubrey saw a girl standing at the bus stop. She hadn't seen this girl before. "She must be a new girl." Aubrey thought. Aubrey decided to go introduce herself. "Hi!", Aubrey said. "Oh... Hi.", The girl said. "Are you new? Cause' if you are, let me introduce myself! I'm Aubrey Jennings. Whats your name?" Aubrey asked. "My name is Morgan Gray." "Well Morgan, it's nice to meet you!", Aubrey said. "It's nice to meet you too, Aubrey!" Morgan replied just as the bus parked in front of them. Aubrey and Morgan stepped up onto the bus and sat down in one of the seats. "Are you nervous for your first day?", Aubrey asked Morgan. "Yeah, a little bit. I hope I'll make a few friends." Morgan replied. "Well heres your first one!" Aubrey said pointing her thumbs at herself. The girls laughed for a bit, but they stopped when the bus started to slide on some ice. "Mr. Anders! Whats going on?!" Aubrey asked with worry in her voice. No answer. "Mr. Anders?" Aubrey asked once again. He must not have heard her with all of the screming kids. Aubrey got up from her seat to get the bus driver. "Aubrey!" Morgan said grabbing Aubrey's sleeve. "It's not safe!" "I'll be fine Morgan.", Aubrey told Morgan. Morgan let go of Aubrey's sleeve and Aubrey started to walk up the long aisle. Aubrey held onto the seats to keep herself from falling. "Mr. Anders?! Are whats going on?!" Aubreys Jaw dropped when she saw what had happend. Aubrey starting screaming at the top of her lungs. "Aubrey!" Morgan said running up the aisle trying not to fall. When Morgan saw what had happened, she covered her eyes. Mr. Anders had been killed. "How did this happen?!", Aubrey whipsered with her shakey voice. "I'm gonna be sick!", Morgan screamed. "Here.", Aubrey said handing over a paper bag. "I was kidding.", Morgan told Aubrey. "Oh..." Aubrey said.
Then the bus hit a bump, and the bus flipped over.
