These are all the YouTubers most Minecraft veterans grew up watching. CaptainSparkelz was the one who most likely introduced you to Minecraft. For me. It was random YouTube videos I found and I thought the game looked cool.

AntVenom is who introduced me to Hunger Games! I remember watching the original Hunger Games event. He was who I went to, to see all the great HG adventures.

Syndicate (Who I found way later after I got Minecraft.) was one of the originals to. Possibly one of the best survival builders I have ever seen. He to this day is still one of my favorite YouTubers! He has made SO many Minecraft Let's Plays. If you are looking for a very long term Minecraft series then check out his Let's Play.

The YogsCast was another favorite of mine. Although, they are NOT what they used to be. I still enjoy their content. But I will be focusing on their original Minecraft content. Shadow of Israphel (SoI) was what they are best known for. That and their Tekkit Let's Play. I don't enjoy them as much anymore so I don't know what else to say.

But the YouTuber that taught us how to play was PaulSoarsJr. I remember starting my first REAL Minecraft world and listening to him in the background telling me how to craft weapons and armor. Of course. I watched the wrong series and instead watched his original series that was really outdated! Ha Ha.

BeBopVox is still going strong today with The Minecraft Monday show! I love the MCM show and I watch it every monday. I really enjoy his content and recommend you check him out. Hes pretty great!

But nowadays, a lot of the original Minecraft YouTubers have passed the torch to the newer Minecraft YouTubers. For those new to Minecraft. These YouTubers didn't do "Mini-Games" like they do these days. They relied on survival and mods for their channel. The only well known Mini-Game at the time was Hunger Games. But sometime along the line. Someone came up with Mini-Games. This is also what servers rely on these days. Lets talk about servers.

Back in the older versions of Minecraft. Mini-Games were not very popular like they are today. In fact. Hunger Games was really the only Mini-Game! You never had "TnT Run" or "Spleef".  Instead of Mini-Games. Servers used Plugin's, Creative and Survival to entertain their guests! Very few servers use this kind of entertainment these days. There were also no individual servers that EVERYONE visited like there are today. These day's we have "The Hive" and "Mineplex", and they are quite well known in the modern community. Servers were servers. They were not all fancy like they all are now.
