Hello everyone, Skullduggerycain here. My reviews haveno t been in the PMC times for a while due to family issues, but Io m back now and ready to review! Anyway, today, Io ll be reviewing The Evils of Fake Online Adverts, by SoggyTractor. Ads, weo ve all seen them. In fact, I see them most right here on PMC. A lot of the times, these ads are sort of inappropriate, like the ones for that appalling game, o Scarlet Bladeo . Now, what SoggyTractor writes about, is the sheer amount of adds across the internet. To quote;

SoggyTractor demonstrates how real these things are, and his opinions on them. He is against how they clutter up websites, and send a bad image about the website. I agree with him here. The only part I disagree with him is when he asks o How do they even make money off of these things anyway?o Well, the answer is simple there. Leto s use PMC as an example. PMC is a very popular website amongst gamers. New games come out, and the developers want to get them noticed. They look at the popularity of multiple gaming websites. When they find a good, popular one, they send the owner a message, saying that they will pay them if the owner lets them advertise on their site. Thato s all. In conclusion, SoggyTractor has written a general rant about his opinions on these sorts of scam ads, and how he feels that theyo re taking over the internet. Thato s all for now. See you next week!

Attractive builds give me pleasure. That's why I had to try out "New York City 1940's" by C_B_John and "Broville v10" by Oldshoes, and that is a fantastic name. Anyway these are popular cities/projects/builds/maps/whatever you want to call them with over 200,000 views and 200 diamonds each but chances are, you haven't downloaded them yet. And I bet you want to. So let's compare them. SIDE BY SIDE. LET'S DO IT. LET'S START THIS BATTLE. YES.
Flying over this map of 1940's NYC may be what its like to fly over London nowadays in real life: Beautiful, endless structures towering into the sky...but when you zoom in, you see tramps throwing up on pavements, rubbish bags being dropped from broken windows, graffiti and building work galore. Okay, the map isn't THIS BAD when you zoom in, but still, there are parts that seem a little empty and repetitive. Sadly, you realise that it's only impressive from a distance. Grand Central Station could use a little more decoration and a number of buildings lack depth.
Still, the real buildings in NYC never really had depth. It's just window after window after window right? Anyone been there in the 1940s, by any chance? Also, the scale of the build and the proportion are both good, and I'm sure it would look amazing in the texture pack which I can't be bothered to download. Not to mention that there's a lot of space for expansion if you want to add to it.
WHAT ABOUT BROVILLE VERSION 10?! I hear you ask. Well, one thing that struck me is how every building is a bigger version of the first house you ever made. Single glass blocks, flat oak wood, dull stone and flat rooves. This time I'm being serious: it may be huge, bigger than NYC even, but the majority of the buildings are like this, and they're atrociously, gut-wrenchingly, eye-wateringly simplistic. Signposts that attempted to be funny made it worse: "thugz mansion" and "bitches station" didn't make me laugh; I just ended up crying (also because I was trapped in survival mode.) BAD SURVIVAL MODE. BAD.
We have a clear winner. NYC is taller, more authentic, more diverse, and as I said, looks great with the texture pack. However, neither map is perfect, and with all the other vast cities on PMC that you can see (eg. MINE) they might not deserve their successes. But I can't deny that incredible effort has been put into these so I would advocate a round of applause for both builders, and they're updating them as we speak so there's more to come. DOWNLOAD:

Craft of War is reborn! Today marks the grand re-opening of Craft of War a PvP based server that tries to do a little bit of everything. It originally opened in June 2012, and through thick and thin it managed to get through a lot. Craft of War hit the pop reel and managed to take a huge influx of members, sadly the old hosting company did not do a good job and failed Craft of War many times by crashing though it was a 16gb server. Last month Craft of War was put to rest due to lack of funding, but no man, creature, or being can stop Craft of War.
They are back up, and better than ever, with an in depth Assassins Creed PvP system and supplementary Survival and Creative Worlds. They really have given new meaning to what it means to be a server.
