This story is a lore version of the events that occurred during the roleplay war between the Chaos Legion (allied with the Cholan Empire and Illager Clan) and the Great Monster Empire. I am aware that there's already a lore write-up of these events on the official Legion lore blog, but this series aims to depict things in better detail, and feature scenes of what other soldiers are doing during the war. (The stuff on the lore blog mainly focuses on high command.)

It's a weekly series releasing every Tuesday at 5:00 PM EDT in November and December. The series will be primarily written by me, with input from LegendarySi, as he is the Chaos Legion’s leader. (In other words, he’s the editor.)

Chapters

Early Negotiations	The Great Monster Empire begins to make itself known, threatening to wage war on the Chaos Legion and their allies. In light of this information, IGEBM scrambles to prevent a war.
Viruses and Missile Strikes	With the outbreak of the war, various parts of Anarchy Island are fighting to defend their home from both the Astral Beasts and the attacking GME forces.
The Midnight Coup	After countless suggestions of it, Marshall GrossDeimosStein stages a coup against the Emperor.
New Allies	In the wake of the coup, the now-restored GME resumes their attacks stronger than before, now also in an alliance with the Mystical Forest Empire. Meanwhile, IGEBM has set out to form an alliance with unlikely comrade. Then, a tragedy happens.
The Thanjavur Incident	At last, peace talks have begun again. Unfortunately, this meeting, held in Thanjavur in the Cholan Empire-controlled territories of Anarchy Island, will be the location of a dark moment in the PMC World War.
No Winners, No Losers	Following the Thanjavur Incident and King Elightin Elytra’s punishment, a ceasefire has been called by the GME in preparation for what would end up being the final peace conference.
