I have resurrected, finally returning to PMC, although I never left, I just needed a short break, to focus on my school work, and just to live my life. Sorry for poor writing and grammar also, I am a bit rusty

Hey guys, Cobby here.

I have came to a final decision.
The PvP community, as we have it today - is disgusting.

It doesn't make much sense. People ask others for a fair fight, others accept. it is in no necessariness, that you need to say something along the lines of "haha kid get good eZ".
You asked them to fight, they accepted, and be grateful for the fact that you won the dual. No need to tease them about it.
There is also no need to full on rage at them when you lose. SO WHAT - Its PvP, Expect to die at times! We all die, we all win, and just be considerate and kind that you lost a fight. Instead of cussing at them, maybe give them a virtual pat on the back, and say good fight mate.

Its all about the competion, being the best, being the star ... Well, thats what they think.

No, its about having a good time, if you enjoy it. Yes, you do verse other people, but do sport sports swear at eachother for sucking? No - At the end of the game they give themselves and others a pat on the back, just like the PvP community should. Noone goes undefeated, so be generous whether you won or lost. You may have lag spikes in fights, ignore it, maybe politily ask for a rematch, not say "WTF LAG SPIKE RM KID"

You might say I am exaggerating, but I tell you right now, go on a PvP server, (preferably a kit server), and just read chat. It is pretty disgusting. Its full of cuss words, people being rude to one another. Why can't it just be full of "good fight :)", and "well played :)" Not "eZ randy get gud" or "Wow such bad, get a life".

So in conclusion, I am just saying - don't be rude, congratulate others they won, or tell them well played if you won. Maybe if your kind enough you could even teach them.
So everyone, stop thinking being good at PvP is vital in life, its just about having a good time, and versing opponents. Its no competition.
-Sam.

It's sad when I see a bunch of kids raging over a game because they lost a diamond...
People have no life these days.

I don't think PvP is bad, but it does attract some utter cretins.

But on the other hand, when one of said cretins starts with the poorly typed insults aimed at various members of my family, it's very pleasing to unleash a barrage of real insults on them and watch them burn.

But then again I too am a terrible human being.

it's because the people who play pvp are usually obsessed with winning and competition

Well, yes and no.

Yes:
- People are immature and stupid.

No:
- PvP isn't all about the competition.
- The PvP community is exclusively or exceptionally immature.

Here's my reasoning.

A lot of the MC community is immature, and I don't think all the immature players just flock to PvP servers. Rather, I think that competition brings out both the best and the worst in people. It allows good players to compete, get better, and enjoy themselves. The downside is that many people can't handle losing, and so it brings out the immature, raging 5 year old within them. I mean come on, we've all felt like cussing someone out at the top of our lungs at some point in our lives. Nobody can honestly say they've never been that mad.

And honestly, I play PvP games/factions mostly for the competition and for the triumph of winning. That's just what I enjoy.
