“ The aim of art is to represent not the outward appearance of things, but their inward significance.”

The Project… Finally

As I promised in New Era New Dream Today I will explain everything, and post the 3 dimensional scene.

Everyone has their own unique perspective. This has always fascinated me, What I perceive as right or beautiful can be very different. I seek to explore this phenomenon as a community.

The idea is simple.
  • I create a unique 3 dimensional scene rich with atmosphere
  • I post it in this Blog, I will explain it, and make it available for the public
  • The public Utilize it, creative freedom
  • Finally The public shares their own Creative addition to the scene

We as a community can explore the unique perspectives of all involved. We as a community can give a different face to every scene.

Regardless of individual skill level, theme or style all of us can contribute to this community. I suspect most of us will focus on Building but there are other ways you can contribute if building isn't for you. Create a Redstone contraption, Tell a interactive story, Make a video, ect. I welcome anyone that can think outside the box.

With every scene I post I will be showcasing some of the work the people have done. I hope this will inspire and motivate in someway.

It is said Beauty is in the Eye of the beholder. Well Behold:

All of the sudden you realize you have been sleeping for quite some time. As you get closer to the Islands something insides you begins to awaken. It starts with your eyes, they've been used to seeing the sea one colour. In front of you there is unthinkable gnomon of colour to play with your imagination. The corral reef steaming with life pigmentation overwhelming the visual sensory. You begin to understand why this place Is a tropical Paradise. The Seascape contrast with the whiteness of the sand only broken with the occasional wash of seaweed stranded by the shore. Water so blue it gives the illusion of merging with the sky above. Sand so soft ever step is like a stroll through the clouds. The Dark contrasting colours of volcanic rock breaking the endless blues of the ocean. Perfect harmony.

Today’s Scene is a Caribbean inspired islands, but in reality it could be a number of different tropical islands scatter throughout the equatorial line.

I will talk about some of the special element Ive added.

    • The world consist of  3 Large Islands, 5 medium Islands, 9 tiny Islands.

    • The second Largest Island is a recently active volcano. You can see the lava slowly trickling down the mountain side, hasn’t fully reached the bottom yet. A puff of smoke makes its way upward to wards the blue Horizon a gust of wind takes it in a South-West direction . The Exposed Lava bubbles with energy.

    • The Largest Island is situated in the middle of the map. It is a more tranquil existence than the active volcano.  On the western side of the island lies a waterfall, the crystal clear water pouring into a basin. Amphibian litter around the waters edge. The island has plentiful amount of area to building in

    • If you walk any of the shore you will first notice the pristine white sandy shores. Keep walking inland and the sandy beach become muddled with some life. Grass, bushes and tress begin to appear, the occasional rodent out scavenging for food. Go further and lush greens appear, Grass no longer reassembles mustered yellow. Ferns, bush and banana trees take hold.

    • Amphibian, rodents, butterfly, and insects can be found throughout out any of the islands. The coconut trees are accompanied by the occasional seagull, bird of prey, or blue bird.

    • The ocean tides hit the Barren rock leaving behind mist that slowly dissipates. Another tide makes its way in the distance. On the shores the remanence of the seaweed stranded by the tide.

    • Life existence not only above the tide but below it. Under sea there are an array of different coral and sponges. Underwater you can see clearly the contrasting colours of the rock and the white sand. Some of the underwater life illuminate the darkness.

Download Scene

Periodically I will be adding New scenes to this blog. Eventually Creating a catalogue of scenes. I plan on making every scene unique. So if you have any suggestions please comment.

Spoiler - click to reveal
If you want to get the download I will gladly share it with you. Just simply Sent me a private Message Telling me what scene you are interested in.

The decision to not make it a public download link is my attempt to connect with you. A more personalized interaction then simply clicking a link.

As a builder the more options and detail I can add the greater liberty I have. Conquest allows me the greatest amount of liberty. As result I utilize Conquest 1.7.10 resource pack.

  • To run Conquest properly Make sure you have Mcpatcher or Optifine. This will enable Connected textures.

If you are unfamiliar with Meta Data I would Recommend:

  • MetaChanger this Mod will allow you to learn and is very simple to use.
Don't be afraid to ask if you have any questions

If you would like to discuss anything on here or would like to be part of this project Fav this I will personally get in contact with you. I will ask you couple of questions, it will help me better understand my audience.
