Im sure we have all heard of the Ruins of the Sea as it has been told in many diffrent ways, over thousands and thousands of generarions.. This however, is the originating tale, and the one that I have been told.

It all started in a world long, and far from this one. When the home we know of today, had barely just formed. Aquarius was a simple, yer quite large town. Home to many fisherman, sailors and all alike. Many versions of the story show diffrentt fates, some with the destruction of the town in very diffrent ways, some with volcano eruptions, hurricanes, along with severe thunder storms and tornados. The main one I was told however, flood was a brought down by the gods themselfs.

The untold part of Aquarius was that, with its fame in fishing and being sorrunded by charted ocean, it was full of those who've done wrong. Sinners, if you wish to call them that. It was filled to the brim with theifs, pirates, all that you can image when it comes to them. As with most things, the horrible overshadowed the holy and decent people. And in this case, it was certain.

The gods, the divine spirits, whatever you would prefer to call them were said to have had enough of this, and sent the massive flood, as it destroyed countless buildings and lives, many belongings of the folk , and few homes and buildings, along with the ships sank to the bottom of the ocean. Those ships becoming the shipwrecks often found with the remains

The souls of the vengeful, the confused, they became the dead zombie and husk like entitys that roam the ocean floors with they're tridents, looking for those to drag down with them, the Drowned. They still, to this day roam the sea.. Staying near what they once called home.

As most would assume, the ships, often found near the remains of Aquarius, were the ships of the pirates, sailors, and fishers that helped make the town so well known. Often however, they belonged to, from what I assume due to the stories of what are found in them, pirates. Lots of unused and pointless treasure maps and captains logs being found mainly. However, some rare jewels, such as emeralds, have been found in the ruins and ships.

Im not... fully sure how this rumor fully started to begin with, however, some have associated the untamable and revenge fueled spirits that reside there serve, in some way, shape or form, either the elder guardians, sea life, or Posideon himself.

If you MUST take some moral out of this tale, let it be caution. Be wary of those you care deeply for, otherwise either they put you, or you put them in harms way. Try, I beg of you, for those reading this and humanity as a whole to not end up like they did.. or we'll ALL be doomed.
