The adventurer was tired. He took his bucket and drank the rest of the water. He had been in this desert 6 days, and he had found nothing. He took out this map, that he had found recently in a crumbling pyre, and he threw it in the sand. 'Fat lot of good that did.' he muttered to himself. He took out the strange purple gem that he had found alongside the map, and Poised himself, ready to throw. But he stopped. He suddenly noticed, stark in the sand before him, a stone brick. carefully, he dusted the sand away, and found he was standing on a whole floor of stone bricks. he noticed something odd about them though... it took a few seconds for him to notice the button, and when he pushed it, for a moment nothing happened. But then, he heard a mechanical groan, and a large doorway opened up in the ground in front of him. 'well,' he thought 'better in there than out here.' and walked into the cold darkness...

After half an hour of wandering, the adventurer was worried. He wondered where the entrance was, and what lay ahead in this ruin. He thought of the last town he stopped by, who seemed... odd... almost as if they were hiding something... something... something big... His thoughts were interrupted by a small hiss, and fearing a creeper, he spun round...

PART THE SECOND

As the adventurer looked behind him, he saw no creeper. He didn't even see a spider. He saw rock. so, he took out his pickaxe and was poised to take a chunk out of the wall, when something struck him as odd. The rock, strangely enough, was glinting. Iron? He mused. Gold? But no, this was far too black. He realized, suddenly, that he was looking at a wall of eyes. Eyes belonging to many, many, very annoyed insects. he turned, and, needless to say, ran.

He sprinted past doors and bars, and long extinguished torches until he was safe. He looked behind him to check for the creatures, and began to back away, as he saw hundreds upon hundreds of the animals racing towards him. He thought he was doomed, until he noticed a lever jutting out of the wall, and snatched for it. It was stiff with disuse, but the moment he got it working, there was a loud clunk, and he walked deeper into the ruin, quietly chuckling to himself, as the floor behind him was dropped into a pool of lava...

Part 3 coming soon, hang in there peeps! :)
