Steve frantically searched for a way to get out. He sniffed the air, and felt all the walls. Being blind wasn't making this easy, but he had to escape. He walked inwards and tripped over something soft and fluffy. he feels it and smells it. It is a bed. He noticed something hard under the sheets. In his hurry he thrusted the sheet off and picked up the item. It was a lever! Steve screamed with joy and ran to the iron door. He opened it up and ran into the hallway outside.

"Well done Steve", the voice from above bellowed. "You have successfully escaped, but now you are in danger once more. The walls from both sides of the hallway are inclosing, and in thirty seconds will crush you into a human pancake". Steve's heat sunk. "You must find a way to avoid these walls". As Steve hears the wall come closer, he starts to worry. For ten seconds his mind is blank, but then he realises the obvious. He steps back through the iron door behind him, and watches the walls smash together.

"Impressive, Steve, I'm sure you will be perfect for the rest of the tests. Sixty-three thousand to be exact."
"I AM NOT YOUR HAMSTER", Steve shouts.
"I'm afraid that isn't your choice, there is no way out Steve. You participate, or you die".
Steve begins to get crowded with emotions. He feels anger and depression and a whole lot of other feelings. He tunes in his hearing to the room. He clams his mind and focuses on nothing else but the room. In the silence, he senses a vent in the roof.

He knows it's there, and he knows it leads outside. All he has to do is figure a way out. He thinks and thinks, blocking out the lecture the voice is giving to the best of his ability. He brainstorms everything he has done here, and remembers the bed. He lunges over to it and pushes it over to the vent. He jumps up and punches the vent open. He rushes inside and crawls as if his life depends on it. He senses the world ahead and moves towards it vigorously. He bashes the vent and jumps outside."FREEDOM!" he yells at the top of his lungs. He tries to gain his bearings. But in his worry of being captured again, he decides to leg it. He runs forwards, and never looks back. But even he knows, something like this doesn't just end...
