Hey guys! I'm back from my break. As you may know, there is a theory about creepers on youtube. I really wanted to make a minecraft theory, so I thought: what is another weird creature? Mooshrooms! I'm going to try to explain what are mooshrooms.

First, let's take a look at their home: the mushroom biome. It is exceedingly rare and cointains mushrooms and mycelium. Notice how only mooshrooms are in the biomes. Nothing else, not even hostile mobs. It is possible for mobs to spawn in on the one regular block usually included in a mushroom biome. It is also possible for a mob to wander onto the biome, but mooshrooms are the only mob that are there. Are the other mobs are afraid of mooshrooms? I don't thinks it's the mooshrooms their afraid of. I think they're afraid of ending up like them. They're afraid of the land.

You see, mushrooms and mycelium are both dangerous. First, mushrooms. As you probably know, some mushrooms are poisonous or toxic. There are some mushrooms that are actually mind-altering. I'll get to why this is really important a bit later. Additionally, there is mycelium. Mycelium builds a network below the ground and has control of the plants above it. One huge expanse of mycelium is said to have killed the forest above it multiple times. Also, the compacted version of mycelium, sclerotium, is deadly. In history, a certain version of this sclerotium has killed and mutilated thousands (through food). Mycelium can spread, too. In minecraft, mycelium can make other blocks next to it into mycelium. It can take over the block. Sound familiar?

So, all this talk about the dangers of the land still don't explain why the mooshrooms are there. Why would anything come to this horrible place? Well, think of a mooshroom. When you shear it, mushrooms fall off and the mooshroom turns into a normal cow. It's almost as if when you remove the mind-altering mushrooms, the mooshroom is set free. So, mooshrooms aren't really a thing. Mooshrooms are cows possessed by a fungus. This tells us that some cows came to mushroom biomes for some reason. Why? I think that they were exiled by other mobs. I don't know why, but they were. The only place they knew of that was free of any mobs was the dangerous mushroom biome. Even though it was dangerous, it was better than being constantly laughed at. Or that's what they thought. After spending some time in the biome, between the power of the mycelium and mushrooms, the cows' minds were taken control of. The mushroom fungus started growing on their backs until finally, the cows were no longer cows. They were mooshrooms.

Now you may say that mooshrooms give mushroom stew and cows give milk, but I believe that between the myceliem and mushrooms, that the mooshroom would produce mushroom stew instead of milk because of the fungi.

I hope you enjoyed this theory! Please leave a diamond and have a great Earth Day! Thanks for reading! :D
