Our protagonist Steve is now in front of a forbidden area of the woods.

Signs everywhere say to Keep Out! This did not stop our protagonist though. Rumors have plagued the town since it's birth of the ominous Woodlands Mansion. Our protagonist is one that does not step down from a challenge though, as risky as it may be. Along with the rumors, came a specific rumor of the mansion containing untold riches deep within it's basement. Steve was not the richest in the town, did not have many talents, and was definitely not qualified to fight any paranormal abnormalities that may appear within the supposed haunted mansion. But what he did have, was an odd amount of courage within his soul. Which is why that lonely, cold, and dreary night, he solved a mystery that was rooted deep within the mansion.

...or did he?

A quick flash of his attention, odd...as if he had just woken up from a dream. Even weirder, it felt as if it was some sort of never-ending dream...some sort of, loop.

Steve sighed and shrugged it off, as he began walking towards the mansion. As he strolled through the open gardens of the estate, a feeling of dread washed over his whole body, chilling his bones to the core. To his surprise, he never once bumped into a wall, or anything for that matter. Steve walked in this never-ending hallway for what seemed an eternity, until he saw a gold colored door in the distance He picked up the pace, rushing to this sign of life in a place devoid of it.

Once he reached the door, he could see how powerful it's glitter was. It was as if it was made of real gold...maybe it was he thought, as he turned the handle. Blinded by light, he shielded his eyes with both hands. After walking in darkness for so long, the light was almost unbearable to see. Once his eyes had gotten used to the newfound source of light, his vision adjusted to show an unbelievable scene. A room, filled with gold, luxurious items, a cornucopia of food, and many more untold riches.

Steve would never have to worry about poverty again, he thought to himself. His eyes were hungry for the gold, as well as his pockets. Steve reached out for the biggest and shiniest red gem, his greed taking over his senses; but..before he touched it, he saw inscribed into the gem the following scripture.

"Do not steal. Or face eternal punishment."

Steve chuckled, "As if I'd go home empty handed" he thought, and touched the g-
