OK, first of all, please don't hate on the blog, I know there are PLENTY out there like this but this one is (by far) the most complete one.

As you know, there's all that fancy game-enhancement stuff that can pimp your game. I'm talkin' texture packs, shaders, mods, (That's what I call "the usual"). They're simple to choose, download and use. They're not really used for views but more for your satisfaaction? Don't get it? What I mean by that is that they're more for the creator of the objects to make his own build more exciting in private, not online. Like I said in my first blog, texture packs can turn mediocre builds into masterpieces, use them when choosing your cover picture!

Lapiz Point (available in 1.7.8 on PMC)
Pamplemousse (available in 1.8.1 on PMC)

There are also easier ways to get views, the ones you didn't think about:

1) YOUR SUBSCRIBERS! Subscribers automatically see your projects when scrolling down a bit on their PMC home menu. It may not be easy to get subscribers (I have less than 10, NEED MORE LOL) but if you have a few reasonabl projects in your profile, the peolpe you subscriibe might just subscribe back! (I don't necessarily use this technique)

2) You probably haven't realized this yet, but titles are EXTREMELY important. Example: When posting a house/villa/mansion, give your build a REAL NAME (but a good one) or write #download available if your creation is downloadable (I try to use both of these techniques)

3) SHOW YOUR PROJECT IS REALLY A PROJECT WITH PICTURES! DON'T put only a picture of a real car in your project, show proof that your project even exists!

4) Edit your cover picture (thumbnail) by adding text to it like the name of the model (if it's a car) or the height in blocks (if it's a high building)

5) Use all parts of a project post, That includes the body/main description, the credit, tags/keywords, the category, and ALWAYS allow the comment section (exceptions exist) because it gives you XP. Especially tags/keywords make your project appear faster in the results section if one of your keywords is what your visitor was searching for (This can be over-used, a good example is adding airbus in the keyword section if your plane is actually a boeing model. And yes, I've seen that)

Go change that on ALL your projects! NAOW!

OK, done with the usual stuff, here comes the neat part...

Ever heard of Chunky? Yeah, most PMCers don't know this but that's how the PMC Masters, Grandmasters, etc. level up so quickly. The professional pimps, the difficult stuff, the IMPORTANT part! Chunky is a Minecraft mapping and rendering tool, the thing that gives you the best cover pics for the most viewed, most favorited, hottest projects on the planet. Without Chunky, you are technically taking a picture of your new 140k Ferrari with an instant camera. It's just not the right thing to do! You spend MONTHS working on a PMC project and end up getting a blurry screenshot as a cover image.
I bet there are several other special programs that let you pimp your pictures but those are useless..CINEMA4D IS AN EXCEPTION!

One trick that I myself have found is the "Update-log"-problem. Basically, every time you add an update log to a project, PMC will say that your project has been "recently updated". No, not the download link or the pictures, ONLY the update log section has been touched. Once you've added and saved that update log (and herefore updated your creation), your post will appear earlier in the results section. That's how some simple projects manage to get into the first two "What's Hot" pages. IKR, kind of unfair to attract attention like that but if you DID update your project before you added the update log, it's not a strategy anymore, only the truth.

Now, as I said before, please no hate comments. These tricks can be used in wrong ways but in the end they were all listed here for a positive reason!

I will update this blog as soon as I find a new trick, I won't "use" the update logs to get a constant number of views every day. I honestly hope I haven't forgotten anything but I don't want to make tis too long and boring anyways, so I guess I'm done here for now.
