Introduction:
The popular reel is not what it used to be, it is what we want it to beo ¦
What do I mean by this? Well, let me tell you.
What It Used To Be:
The popular reel used to be a great achievement, to all people of PMC, we would oooh and awe at the content that the popular reel brought us, each one used to be different, but as a whole they were all great. The mods, blogs, skins, projects, and texture packs would each compete with each other to get on the popular reel. Once you got on the popular reel 2 of the best uploads in its genre would be on the homepage. This is the ultimate achievement. Achieving this means you have quality work.
The pop reel was a symbol of hope to users, everyday it would motivate you to keep working hard in your work and not post mediocre uploads.
What we want it to be:
The popular reel that we wanted was a devil in disguise; it is not what we expected. It is very easy to get on the popular reel, 4 diamonds in 10 min, and youo re on the popular reel. I remember when it took me 10 diamonds, in a very short amount of time, and sometimes even that was not enough. But now, it is a lie, your work can be very bad, and with some help from some friends, you can get it on the popular reel like it is nothing. Do not get me wrong, the popular reel is still and achievement, but only if what you posted was good and got on the reel.
I am not going to lie, I wanted the pop reel to be like this, I wanted it to be easy to get on, but now since I see what is going on, I want it back.
The popular reel is getting worse and worse, I see submissions that are very, very bad. It makes me lose hope in the blogging section, and I feel like this is also happening in other sections of planetmiencraft. For example here is a blog that might be on the popular reel in the blogging section
I might be exaggerating a little, but I think you get my point. It used to be an art to craft the perfect popular reel material, now it is just a game played with monkeys.
Do we want it back?
Well, certainly I want it back, but does the rest of PMC agree with me? I asked the people of chat, and this is what they said.
Looking at this, not many people agree with me. Well, I respect their opinion, and I hope you post your opinion in the comments section.

For this blog i used a text that only windows 7 computers can see (and some others), and if you don't have that type of text available it used Times New Roman, If the blog text looks bad because of this i am sorry, i will be switching back into my default text.
