I'm going to start writing longer chapters. I was originally going to do this, but it started seeming long when it really wasn't.CHAPTER 5

The guy in the black suit dragged me to a tent, that before I would have thought was one of the hospital tents.

"Listen up, Emily. You have been sent here on an important mission. This town has been cursed with a plague."

"Tell me something I don't know." I said.

"This is no time to be funny," he replied, "Spawner is in serious danger. You are the only one who can stop it."

"I don't believe that for a second."

"Well, you shouldn't. Actually, you and a few other people have been chosen to help." As if on cue, 3 other people stepped out. The first one was a man, with short, black hair. He was ripped, and it looked like his clothes would rip at any second. Like a not-formed-all-the-way Hulk. He just needed a white shirt and purple pants. (:D)

The second was a girl. At least I'm not the only one. She looked about 14 (I'm 18, don't think I mentioned that) with long, blonde hair in a pony tail. She looked like she had prepared for this, dressed in a leather jacket and boots, and a comfortable shirt and jeans, with a bow and arrow strapped across her.

The third... was none other than Chad Roth.

I crossed my arms. "I'm guessing you really don't have a log cabin on the boundary of Spawner." I said to him.

"Well, aren't you a smart one? No, no I don't. Cover up, you know? I heard you coming and hid. I didn't think you were part of this."

"I can say the same to you..." I grumbled. I honestly don't like this guy. Stubborn, and you never, ever touch me. It was all I can take not to kick the black suit guy in a place he doesn't want to be kick.

"OK, obviously you guys know each other. But Emily, you haven't met the others." the black suit guy said. Great, make me feel MORE left out. "This is Dave," he nodded to the ripped guy.

"Hi." It was all I could do not to laugh. He had the highest voice ever.

"And this is Rachel." black suit spreads his arm out to the pony tail girl.

"Hey." She seems nice enough. Maybe I can make an effort for at least one friend.

"And me," black suit continued, "I'm Charlie."

"What, like 'Charlie's Angels?'" I asked. He didn't look very happy.

"No, not like 'Charlie's Angels.'" he said. "Can I continue?"

"Go ahead..."

"Good. So you see, I've brought you all here to help this town. I think that's pretty obvious. But, it's not going to be easy. This plague is like nothing I've ever seen before. I'm not even sure what's causing it or what it is. But what I do know is how to cure it. But I'm not an adventurer. You guys are, or at least in heart," he looked at me. Don't single me out, idiot. "So, I need you guys to get the materials for the cure. This cure can cure anything. Anything. Even if we don't know WHAT we want to cure. You guys get the materials, I make it, and then we pour it around the boundary of the town. We'll need a lot, so get as much as you can. This might sound simple, but you're in for the ride of your life. There's only specific places where all of the materials come in many. And this is where you have to go. There will be many challenges. Mobs, night, rivers, oceans, maybe even a little parkour. But you have to get these, or this whole town will die, and the plague will spread everywhere in Minecraftia," An even bigger time limit. Great. "There are two places you have to go. A desert temple, and a jungle temple. But not a regular temple. These are far out in Minecraftia, and are bigger than you will ever see. Each contain half the materials you will need. You'll be grouped up. One group goes through the desert, the other through the jungle. I am giving you a map to where these temples are, and remember: Bigger than you will ever see. So let's see the groups. Rachel and Dave, you head through the Jungle, and Emily and Chad, you head through the desert," Once again, it was all I could do to not scream "NOO!" I just bit my lip. "Here are your maps," he gave us a map to the desert, and Rachel and Mack a map to the Jungle. "Each temple is in the middle of the biggest Jungle Biome and the biggest Desert Biome in Minecraftia, these maps show you how to get there."

"What are we supposed to be getting?" Rachel asked.

"Once you find the temples, the items will be inside. You will know then." Charlie replied. "Now don't forget. Temples have traps. These temples, have the biggest traps of all. Lucky for you, they're noticeable. But if you die, you will respawn in your town, and have failed this mission. You cannot come back here. If you come back alive, you will be greatly rewarded."

"What will we be rewarded?" Chad asked. Greedy too, apparently.

"You will know if you come back alive."

"Why are you acting like some wise old man?" I asked. I'm really pushing it aren't I?

"You have sass, Emily. I like that, but there are limits you know. Anyways, if you all are ready, you can get started." He expects us to go on some crazy adventure that can kill us, right now, two minutes after he explained it!? I don't know about you... but I'm ready! This IS what I've been looking for. Maybe I can finally get a break!
