Now to start off this blog I want you to think back, to a time before cats, a time before an Ender dragon, even way back before villagers. Think of a time when Minecraftia was much more smooth and flat, a time when the world's grass was almost all the same. Imagine a time when a Creeper was your most feared foe.
Yes boys and girls, I'm talking about the wonderful 1.7.3!
Lately I've been missing the old simple minecraft, so I went looking through my minecraft folders to hopefully find an old jar file. I found a folder when I was first attempting to use mods. There was sitting a back up jar of 1.7.3 and right next to it was,..... THE CHARLOTTE MOD!!
This mod was by far my favorite, it made me so sad when an update came for minecraft...but never for my love, Charlotte. I loved this mod so much I down-graded from 1.2 preview to 1.7.3 JUST so that I could get her to LIVE AGAIN!
I wish to bring back this wonderful mod with wonderful updates. We just need to convince

Though I understand some people would do so because of cool mods such as the Aether.
Don't you think back to the staring days of minecraft? When you first began in the big world of minecraft. Didn't you think it was amazing to see all the amazing thing start to appear? Like the first wolves you tamed for the first time? Like the introduction of the Endermen? The start of the villages and the pop up of the Village people. Don't you remember those times?
Going back for me is a great feeling of the minecraft roots.
And I miss the world I had in the update where I built a cobble house on a beach left the floor made of sand started digging down there was water and found a cave made a mine...and had no mods because I didn't know how to use them back then or install.
But I still like the new updates.
I still like the new updates, it gives minecraft more depth and it makes it more interesting and more fun to explore :)
