1.9 Combat Update

As you guys might know, they have already started work on 1.9, or as they call it; the Combat Update! Well currently not much has been revealed, especially very few combat-related things. There has been no snapshots yet, one might possibly come soon, I don't know... I'm not Jens. Only thing that can stand in the way of 1.9, is Minecraft SM or Story Mode. 1.9 currently has a image of it containing a mysterious dark-colored block, which is neither obtainable or naturally generated in the game. Mysterious...

Another new block is one that makes even slabs easy, the low grass. This is possibly their way of adding in proper paths into villages and player's homemade towns. The grass path is the most unique block so far, with along the new blocks comes a new block type!

There are now shields and quivers coming! Now we have an actual combat update! There are also new arrow types! The quiver must be what you need to carry arrows... (that might be bad for cows...) and shield are to protect you... no more sword protecting... unless you don't have a shield!

April Fools/False Snapshot

I almost clicked it, but I found it out through Mojang. This, yet again, tricked many into thinking it was an actual snapshot... on April Fools Day! This was part of 1.10, (probably still going to be 2.0), which 1.10 was titled the, "Love and Hugs Update", which changed things drastically to make it a much more calmer game. The Pink Wither returns along with new features, like you can not directly damage mobs. The pickaxes have become heart tools. Many more crazy changes were added, however this version has now been removed from the launcher.

BAFTA AND KCA Awards

Yes, MC has recieved two awards this year, for all platforms and one especially for console editions.

At BAFTA, Minecraft had won the award in the family category... too obvious, right? Well in Nickelodeon Kid's Choice Awards, Minecraft won the title, "Most Addicting Game", which makes a load of sense for the thousands to millions playing right now. Minecraft is probably the most successful title in the world, excluding awards and other medias. Yet we still have to see... will Minecraft: Story Mode be successful? Probably way lower than the original game, since most MC gamers hate Story in MC, but still Telltale gamers might enjoy picking this up... unless they could get the full game instead for the same amount of money -_-.

No this isn't outdated, I mean as in updates. They have revealed alot at Minecon, the main character is called JESSE not JessIe. The are looking for the Order of the Stone. Ring a bell? Yes, that was the original name with MINECRAFT in it. It's obviously holding 1.9 back, which sucks due to 2.0 taking even longer. More updates of the game are to come! Favourite this to keep up with the update, subscribing will keep you up to date on the home page!

Windows 8.2, 9 10 Edition! Beta...

Yes that's right! Minecraft: Windows 10 edition is coming, but the beta is right around the corner! Yes, this is for the multi-platform Windows 10! This will eventually work with HoloLens, mobile devices and Surface. This is not a new edition of MC... it's of MC: PE, so buy MC PC guys... its much better with Oculus... by Facebook...
