Today is the day we celebrate MLK

This day, 36 years ago the first Martin Luther King Jr. day came into existence, and almost a full year later Sir Martin Luther King Jr. gave his most famous speech (I have a dream) .

This speech changed America. This speech and the many others spoken by him before it changed the opinions of many, Today we can live in a world where people are treated as equals, and even when racist people come into play, we know that we are equal, for those spiky, cold words spoken from their mouths are wrong,

We know they are wrong because of Martin Luther King Jr. We know that we are equal because of Martin Luther King Jr. This man changed the lives of so many people, This man helped stop the hate towards African-Americans and Black people, He made the minds of so many changes.

And for all of the racist people out there today, Well I can lead a horse to water but I can't make it drink, I just hope you know that there is a reason that we live in a united country like this, it's because we were able to ignore you, thanks to the to speeches of Martin Luther King Jr. and other black activists.

All in all we are living in a united country thanks to Martin Luther King Jr. and the other black activists, And thank you.
