Hello everyone! This is MarcoPolo84 on PMC and I will help you decide which plugins you should have for your Minecraft Server!!! Plugins are extensions that enhance your gameplay, make managing your server easier, and also just adding fun mechanics to the game! This is the top 5 plugins for your Bukkit server!

5 - ClearLagg

This is an essentials plugin for large and small Minecraft servers alike. This plugin assists you in reducing lag by removing ground items, limiting mob spawns, and just halping you overall run your server and create a non-lag experience for your players!

4 - WorldGuard

I love using this plugin! This is an amazing utility device that you can use to create regions in your Minecraft server and then set different flags inside that region such as a welcome message when you enter, should players have hunger/health regen, and much much more. You can just do so much with this plugin! It is essentials to have each part of your Minecraft server just the way you want it

3 - WorldEdit

This is an absolutely must-have plugin for Minecraft. You can just do so so much with it! The commands are very easy to remember, perms are easy, and the usefulness for this plugin is definitely over 10/10! This plugin can be used to make mountains, huge trees, change over 1000 blocks in under 30 seconds! You HAVE to get this plugin or else it will be REALLY HARD to build. Stop thinking about it and just go get it. I prefer this plugin over VoxelSniper because it easily integrates with many other plugins!

2 - Multiverse

This is a revolutionary package that allows you to have multiple worlds on your Minecraft server. You can use commands to teleport between them and you can manage all the settings for the worlds individually! It is a very easy to install plugin. Setting it up is sort of complicated. You should have some experience with Minecraft, servers, Bukkit, and permissions. You can install some extensions for this plugin that allow you to build portals, nether portals, sign portals, and seperate inventories for the different worlds!

1 - Essentials

Essentials is the MUST HAVE plugin for your server. It can replace over 5 different plugins with one big plugin. It has "over 100 commands and features useful on just about every server." This plugin has world protection, spawn, spawn kits, chat manager, general settings for your server. This plugin is easy to setup but you need experience with perms to do it. There are many many permissions. The general commands it adds make the server so much easier to run. I just love this plugin!

This was the "Top 5 Must Have Plugins for Your Bukkit Server!" Thank you for reading. Be sure to *DIAMOND* and subscribe! Soon, I will be making a second version of this with plugins that you will probably never heard of.

*Remember that this only applies to basic survival and faction servers!

**HealthBar changed to CLearLagg due to comments and suggestions from fellow users.

Sorry. I have been offline for a while now. I did not plan on getting download links. Search up the names on Google and the Bukkit DEV page will come up.

I would have to agree with Chronalga that Clearlagg and CoreProtect are very important, far more important than the HealthBar plugin. I would almost think that the HealthBar plugin was a personal preference that you allowed into your blog making it biased.

I think my top 5 would be:

Essentials, WorldEdit, WorldGuard, CoreProtect & MultiVerse.

The last one is arguable depending on what kind of server you are trying to make. Some servers dont need multiple worlds and could live without MultiVerse reducing lag. Survival servers might choose ClearLagg instead.

Awesome. I must thank you for reminding me to add a HealthBar plugin to my server. Might not be one of the top five plugins to have but it is definitely within the top 45! XD
