My dad runs a server, and because my mom and I are the admin's family, we have to put up with some of this stuff a lot-mainly being spammed and being asked for ranks, although there's the occasional advertiser as well. I completely agree with everything that is said in this blog.

Lol... Thanks I am a server owner myself, someone has joined after I posted my server on MCSL (Aka Minecraft Server List) And someone asked me for a tour. However, when this happend I didnt know they were up to something, and it was after 1 week of the servers opening. I was quite busy dealing with other players, and he kept bothering me asking me for a tour, I shut him up by giving him /fly, and he said I wanted a tour because I want to rate this server 1/10, after I was done giving him the tour, he said ok then I will give it a 7, and he logged off. Lol so its suspisious but now I think I know that he was trying to exploit my server, which means gaining an unfair advantage by his rank.

Last thing about Youtube isn't true, but advertising anything on a game is about the worst thing you can do, so I don't encourage it. However, I put a lot of time, energy, and hard work into my non-gameplay youtube videos and they average 5 views. Just because it's good or well done, doesn't mean that it'll get noticed without some help. Just like on PMC, Youtube is flooded daily with projects, and being discovered by someone is just an illogical thing to expect, unless you have awesome friends who share all your stuff, which, let's face it, most of us don't have.
