Chapter 1:
I jumped to my paws, ugh, just another one of them damn nightmares. There I was again, standing in front of my old tribe's home, sharing a trout with Matter but then, there's a loud howl and blood, oh gosh, a lot of blood and screams and more screams and - and - and he's there in front of me with his razor claws digging into my throat, blood, warm, crimson liquid that seeped through his claws -
"CAW, CAW, CAW!" The early bird sang and I shook the thoughts out of my head,
"Come on, Sereinn!" I growled to myself but checked my chest slightly, making sure there wasn't a giant bleeding gash.
I was going paranoid, my nightmares were driving me off the cliff, if Sakura was here she would've soothed my thoughts and laid me down like a crying kitten but she wasn't and my old tribe life was simple as dust. The meadow I was sleeping in was licked by sunlight, green grass as far as my eye could see, butterflies looking like Picasso painted bright, big splashes of acrylic paint on them. A nearby deer wandered by itself, minding it's own business, grabbing huge tufts of grass with it's teeth.
"Hey! Get out of here! This is my meadow!" I snarled and it gracefully bounded away, like as if it left by it's own will. I knew I was lying when I said this meadow was mine. I wouldn't dare to sleep in open hills, I was as well as someone walking around naked. I was exposed. All my life, I had been hiding, undercover, sleeping in cracks and crevices, taking cover in unoccupied spaces. Wait, why was I here anyway? How did I get to this overly positive, fairyland aura place?
"Oh, gosh, some other cat might've seen me! I'm as well as dead!" I groaned and dashed away from the meadow, yet I felt a pang of sadness when I left the place when I woke up there I felt relief, like when I sunbathed with my fellow tribemates in my former home. "Get grip on yourself!" I told myself unwillingly, but I still felt like someone was watching me.
