Also, villagers should be about 1/10 the speed of the player, when trying to break anything (including food, and wall pieces).
As for the blog. What can I say? Excellent worked out idea in different levels of implantation. Put into different spoilers to maintain some structure. Presentation is uniform in it's way. Nice touch of the different colors.
*ps, I didn't fire up the jukebox after I saw in the tags which composer you had chosen. So I fired it up for this comment. Nice choice.
Yeah I figured people would hate to have this as a major change to survival mode, so my guess was just to make it separate from survival altogether.
I discovered the composer just recently, and I'm hoping to feature his music ALOT in my future posts, tbh he is about on par with Two Steps from Hell but in a different style of world music (main difference is he adds metal with orchestra, which is awesome.)
One thing that popped my mind is the following. Texture/resource-packs changes the textures, but would you go as far to let texture/resource-pack change the structures them-self for a more fitting theme -> oriental textures with oriental buildings?
I came across this composer from a different kind of style but whatever, we both like him.
now onto the other contest entry on which I am procrastinating because of a blog-contest... Have fun judging though!
