The night flickered with lights in the sky, clouds grumbled preparing to pour down on the darkness below. The moon slowly was trapped behind the growing darkness, which snapped the light shut into its limited darkness. A loud screech from the darkness broke the short silence, along with a clash from the flashing lights above. Standing in a dark, shadowy, clearing are two cats, standing face to face, and there were small shapes beside one.

"Haze! Take them, now!" A small, muscular, dark brown she-cat spoke, and stared up at the dark grey tom towering over her,
"I will not take them, this is against the Whisper's Code!" he growled, nearly stepping forward to attack the small she-cat.
"I know it is! I know we never agreed on it going this far..." Her voice faded, and her eyes glimmered with tears in the flash of light.
"Take them back to your clan." He stepped forward, making her jump from the sudden move. She stared up at him, and nodded.

Fear glimmered in her eyes. She turned towards the small figures, then stared back at the tom. His eyes only shone with anger, and she carried the figures off to camp.
The brown she-cat sat down to rest, her body felt heavy with fear and tiredness.

A blinding light pierced through the sky, shocking her, and the rain began to pour hard. A loud snap was heard behind her, and all she saw was a tail of an unknown furry-creature. The she-cat burst into a sloppy run, and chased the cat into a clearing, before the cat disappeared in the bushes. Something burst out of the bushes, leaping onto her side, and barrels her over. She screeches in shock from the sudden attack, and sloppily knocked the large cat off of her, then noticed it run off before she could notice anything of its coloring.

She peered around the clearing, noticing something terribly devastating.

"No.... NO!" She winced from the pain of her wounds.
