It's well into the wonderful season of summer. Being a warm weather person and a fan of Pirates of the Caribbean, I automatically think of Captain Jack Sparrow and Elizabeth Swann on Rumrunners' Isle. Because of this, I decided to draw a Caribbean island at sunset.
I started off by using Paint.net, where I drew the island, the trees, etc. Then I switched to another program called IrfanView, which I used to enhance the brightness of the sunset and pixilize the image a bit. Because of the brightness of the setting sun, the clam-shell on the beach is hard to make out and see, but it does add some texture and does break up the color of the sand a little bit.
Overall, I am very proud of this.
