This is not an "advertisement for a submission" for the simple reason that the submission does not yet exist.
I will delete this blog once I upload the texture pack, if necessary.
The aim of this post is to offer something to the people (few in number but appreciated) who have subscribed to me to keep tabs on the texture pack I am working on as a thank-you for your support. Of course, it would also be nice to get feedback from fresh eyes - hi Mr/Ms. Reader, looking at these words! I would love it if you left a comment with constructive criticism (write it as tactlessness as you'd like, I can handle "this pack sucks" as long as it is followed up with "the water looks weird and the obsidian is too red.")
One more note: I am sorry, but this month I was not able to work very much on the pack due to exams, so little progress was made. However, terrain.png only had a few minor blocks left, and I finished it up a few days ago. And yesterday I put together a little video showing it off! (I say "yesterday" because I left it uploading overnight... Youtube is notoriously slow at uploading videos.)
Rugged terrain; elegant building. "Wet Paint" is a texture pack that attempts to emulate the soft strokes of a paintbrush while capitalizing on the sandbox nature of Minecraft by lending the user a blank canvas of seamlessly tiling blocks that do not interfere with designs, terrain, or building. Every block, from cobblestone to diamond, has been recreated from the ground up, creating a different look and feel for Minecraft. Furthermore, every miscellaneous visual - every particle, every icon, every mob - will be fully retextured to complete the transformation.
Update #1: Pictures!
On the very wise recommendation of TheNewHope, here is a "layout" picture so that you can see the textures more clearly (open the image in a new tab for more detail).

As usual, your support is really appreciated. I almost feel up to start working on some textures again...
Have a diamond!
Hope the finished product pleases you as well!
I really like the pack, so I will probably like the finished project :D
Though, I'll give you a diamone for the effort you put into the texturepack itself.
I think that I will try and improve the texture-seeing difficulty by posting some stills on this blog... I might even do that tonight.
So I apologize for the -1 for the speed, but it was that or seeing horrible jitter. I'm really sorry :(
