Hey guys, It's Michael here with another PMC post that nobody will probably EVER look at!
Today, I wanted to talk about a serious server topic around the world of Minecraft. BEING STAFF.
Yes, yes, We all know being staff means going on a server and yelling and banning people for bad stuff, but what is the TRUE meaning? Can anyone answer that?

The TRUE meaning:
What does it mean to be staff to me? Well, for me, being staff is having fun on a server while both enforcing rules and helping out. When I apply for staff I always have to be able to help in SOME way. When I'm staff on a server I usually either hang out with people because there is no work to be done or work on a HUGE server project if I get the chance.

The FALSE meaning:
Some people go around on servers and get staff JUST for trolling purposes.Such as killing, smiting, griefing, or just choosing to tick someone off. Why is this? I do not know, but what I do know is that it is STUPID. Here are some reasons I have come up with to support my opinion:
1. It will set a REALLY bad reputation for you in Minecraft
and 2. What's the point? If you know then tell me in the comments, peeps.

Pet peeves of mine:
1. Sometimes people on servers think staff should be old because of maturity or skill. Let me just tell all of you that think that something. Age is NO measure of skill, NO measure of knowledge, and lastly NO measure of maturity. I am only 12 and can be very mature and skillful for my age. I have been staff on 25+ servers, so please, sit back down and think again about promoting staff.
2. I absolutely HATE how owners will just promote people for having 1 good trait of a staff member, but they cannot look beyond any other horrible traits.

P.S If you need me for staff on your server just tell me....

In Conclusion:
