What if Terraria was made before Minecraft?

I wonder what it would have been like if Terraria was released before Minecraft. Tell me what you think in terms of selling,popularity and stuff.

Would it be a better game, more updates and have its own expo just like minecon?
Would there be lots of videos of it on youtube and have 3 million people who bought the game?
Maybe even a bestselling game of the year?

I think minecraft would be more well known still, but some would call it a copy of terraria, minecraft is still more fun.

if terraria is a 2D version of minecraft then it would probly ADVANCE becuase if minecraft came out second terraria would be a weaker version of minecraft and minecraft would be a 3D verison of terraria

it would probably be like how people think of minecraft now
if minecraft came out after terraria, then people would be saying that minecraft was a copy of terraria.
still, boith are awesome games and i prefer to play both :)
