Minecraft is a game that is constantly growing, every single day but many of us have one simple question: 'So whats the future?'
In this article, we answer that question.

Will Minecraft still be big?

Microsoft states that they will be trying to keep Minecraft relevant for over 100 years! And really testing there luck. 'Why?' you may ask? Well, people talk about how the game also is "dying." Maybe even more than how they say its growing... One of the big reasons why they might say such a thing is because a lot of the OG fans are leaving because the game is way too popular. People get bored of a game after awhile! Too many players leads to it getting boring! This may be a big problem with other games too, such as ROBLOX, Fortnite, or any other big game!

But what about the new players? Like I said Minecraft is still growing. One may argue that its at its peak of how many players they are! Thats because one of Microsofts big plans for Minecraft is to get it as out-there as possible! Releasing it on practically anything they can get there hands on! There was once a literal "Raspberry Pie" edition of Minecraft! I bet almost no one has one of those things anymore!

Another thing to consider is the games updates. Updates to a game are very important when it comes to if the game is hyped up enough. Updates lead to new experiences, and players want more gaming experiences! They will most likely be running out of ideas if this game comes to about at least 20 years of it being reverential. Heck, I bet they already are! For example, the polar bear in 1.10, did we really need another mob that has no practical effect to the game?

Will companies except Minecraft on their machines?

This is a very interesting thing to talk about. This matters most about what the game's future looks like. Companies might say, 'Hey, This Minecraft game is really popular! Get this on our system," or they might say "Minecraft has been done before."
But lets say if Minecraft is not alive then, well... You can guess for yourself what might happen.

Well, as you can see, Minecraft has a mixed future ahead of it. We have talked about if Minecraft has the possibility of still being extremely popular, what the updates might look like, and if companies will want it on there platform. Now, please discuss different arguments, or comments in the comment section! Bye! -BradX

I don't think Minecraft is dying, but I do think Minecraft communities are, like PMC, MCForums, YouTubers, etc. Maybe not dying, but definetely fading. So the game is still going strong, but the communities built around it are.
