So, I've been thinking. What is the meaning of Minecraft (thought I was going to say life, weren't you)? Is it to build? Is it to survive? Or maybe, just maybe, is it for money and buisness?
I will be honest with you. The (current) owners of minecraft don't really care about who plays it, they just want to get the most money out of making and updating it. I know, sad right? Well, that's the same for Walmart too, so calm down. Each and every update is to keep you playing Minecraft, not to make you happy.
Many people have made money off of this game. Youtube has featured millions and millions of videos relating to the topic Minecraft. Popular channels such as Skydoesminecraft, BajanCanadian, or even Markiplier have made countless videos about their favorite sandbox game. There are videos about minigames, servers, Survival Let's Plays, creations, updates, snapshots, animations, machinimas, mods, and even homemade movies in relation to Minecraft.
In the early days of production, the game was simply a field of grass in which you could build whatever you wanted! Or almost anything you wanted. Soon, survival was implemented in a later update and realistic terrain was also added, making the game one of the first like it's own. I think we can all safely say that Minecraft will remain a popular videogame for at least ten years, especially since the game has been updating every few months ever since the game was first created and that Microsoft is now the current owner of it.
In conclusion, I think the best way to put it is that Minecraft was made for however you want to play it or do with it. Depending on who you are, you may spend months on a huge creative project or months on a Youtube Survival Let's Play. It all depends on who you are and what your best interests are. Tell me in the comments below what you like to do with Minecraft! Don't forget to leave a diamond or even a favorite!

for me it a beautiful virtual adventure.Microsoft and notch wanted money but c418 and some players didnt, so they made the meaning of the game like "forever stayed" by music, paragraphs, speechs, pictures. We found the beauty of minecraft but i think notch didnt. He just accidentally come up with an idea and created the game, minecraft means nothing to notch but his career, success and money. Also, that's why he doesnt really care if we hack

Your final point is what resonates most with me.  The great thing about Minecraft is it can be played however you want it to be played.  It's accessible to people of all ages, hardcore gamers, casual gamers, artists, architects, etc.  It's a very good point.  Thank you very much for sharing this!  :)

"The creators of minecraft don't really care about who plays it" <-- Most people know that there was one creator and his name is Notch. Minecraft was created because of a Swedish person's passion and love for video games. Also I don't think you should use bold font.

True, true. Notch did have a passion for creating games, but the owners of it now are Microsoft. I wouldn't have said what I said if Mojang still owned the game.

I think you used the wrong word because owners and creators are not synonymous.
