What made me a Minecrafter?
Well, that started in about early 2012 back when I still haven’t known what Minecraft was. Then, my friend showed me his builds and how he uses texture packs. I was very interested in this little game, and decided to download it myself.

I downloaded MCPE on my Samsung Galaxy tablet, and started creating a world. Back then, MCPE was still a demo and it was free. At first I was confused. About everything; the controls, the plot and the gameplay. Then, I figured out how to place a block. Then, I built an underground house.

I gotta admit, it was pretty crappy. It was basically stone and dirt under a wooden wall. A few months later, the full MCPE released. I didn’t have it until the early 2013, where it was at 0.8.0. I played multiplayer and had fun.

It wasn’t a year later until I got Minecraft PC in 2014. I started off in 1.7.10, and watching YouTube videos to know more about it. I visited a video from someone called “SethBling”. I saw what he did with these little pieces of red trails called “Redstone”. So I thought to myself, “Wow, this guy is good! He can make advanced machinery by just powering these little bits. If he can make it, why can’t I?”

I quickly made a new world called “Full o’ Redstone” which was planned to have massive amounts of Redstone creations in one world. The first thing I built was a conveyor belt that can transport massive amounts of blocks at the same time. It had an ultra-simple design, but it was so impressive that I knew I was at least a bit talented in this thing.

A few days after, I made a piston machine that resembled a loading sequence. With that same machine I created a lottery machine that picked out a dispenser with diamonds at random.

Also in 2014, I found this site. I saw that it had a community all about Minecraft; and since I’m obsessed in Minecraft, I instantly joined. I made my first post – Zelda Sword Skills Review, and it barely made anything. It only had 2 diamonds (mine and another guy’s) and wasn’t too popular whatsoever.

I had inferior internet back then, so multiplayer wasn’t my thing. I could barely move an inch in Mineplex. But since I got my new internet, it all changed. I mastered Hypixel’s most fast-paced game – QuakeCraft. I aced it when my railgun wasn’t good, and I became a pro after buying one of the fastest reload triggers in the game.

After some time, I found Keralis and MagmaMusen, they both taught me how to build better buildings and made my building techniques go high up in the sky. I had a lot of fun in Minecraft; starting from the community, the experience, and the creativity in it.

To me, Minecraft is more than just a game. It’s a lifechanger.

I wish to thank Mojang, PlanetMinecraft, the whole community and all my supporters. You guys mean so much to me.
