Many of you ask "how do I get quality in my submissions?"
First of all, Time and effort.
Take your time on your submissions... There is no need to rush them. Putting a lot of effort into your submissions can make you gain lots of diamonds especially if you took your time.
Clear images related to the submissions More than likely you will gain diamonds for clear images and related images. You don't see projects of houses with a picture of a creeper as the main image on the home page now do you?
Title relating to the submission A title which relates to what the submission is of also helps gain those diamonds.
A very descriptive description (of the submission.) A good description describing what the submission is based on and whatever else can get some people interested.
Download links that work Have a main download link and then a mirror link.
For example: A DropBox link and for the main link MediaFire. (Just in case one of them has some down time.)
(For Blogs) Make a blog that will interest people Make it on a topic everyone would be interested about and will have you discussing the topic over 350 characters long.
Grammar and Spelling This also helps people understand what you are talking about. Cus if u spek lik dis sumppl wont undastnd u If you speak like this more people will understand and you will look more professional.
Introduce yourself/give your readers an good impression of who you are. I know you wrote "A very descriptive description", but I felt that this wasn't really included. Describe what you want to achieve with your submission (goals). I feel this is important because it will only give your submission/project more "strength" and really give it a worthy purpose. People won't automatically look the same way at your content as you, so explain ;) Names, logos and other GFX work. GFX or graphic work like logos, banners and wallpapers is something I know is important. Text won't give your viewers the correct image of your submission. Make them recognize your content from a crowd. Branding is important. The best example I can come up with is "Coca Cola". Most people know what that is. A video preview. I think videos about your content will only make you seem more professional (especially if the video is well made). Everyone like and appreciate videos. Credits. Crediting everyone that have been a part of the work is important. It will only make you look even more professional and trustworthy. Trust is important. Have a good reputation is important and will only make you stronger. Don't beg for attention, diamonds, favorites and submission. When I read a blog or view an alright content, and I eventually notice at the end "Please give me a diamond, favorite this page and subscribe to me", I loose most of my respect for that creator. I know it sounds silly, but it really gives me an impression that this creator is only making this for worthless digital numbers and fame. Remember, wrap your passion around your content and your viewers. Not around how you can achieve worthless XP faster. Set up a plan for your project. A clever plan (preparation) for your project will just help you on the way and easier secure success for your future product. Also, a plan for how you would spread your content or publish it will only help you reach out to more people (if your plan is good).
I think I have pretty much covered everything that makes a good quality submission. Look out for more of my blogs!
I don't really agree with that diamond part, for me, hwen people diamond my projects, it just prevent them to fall into the oblivion for some days. If they are not diamoned project are forgotten. Nobody can earn fame from some minecraft stuff, but people often don't care about diamoning project they dl
I like this thread. Easy, explanatory and clean, and you seem like a clever individual. Your one of few people I can 100% agree with. That doesn't happen a lot. I would still suggest some more points for you.
