Hey people. You know what? I know this kinda stuff is everywhere, but hey? Why not put in my opinion?
Minecraft is a wondrous game and I do love it, but I wish it had more (and wasn't so difficult to mod anymore). The first thing I want improved: Villages. They're a great thing, but not good enough yet. We need them to have at LEAST one more building, preferably with something good. Like a villager with great trades or a chest inside. My idea for him is a miner. He can trade certain blocks/ores and pickaxes. Villages should also spawn more often. I've had worlds with savannas, grasslands, and deserts all joined together biome after biome and....nothing. They need a little...FLARE or STYLE.
Wow, this is getting long. Well, I suppose this is rant mode now. Be prepared.
Temples. Seriously? These things kinda suck. I like how the desert one is burried under sand and the jungle one has the vines to go with the biomes but still. Come on. That can be so much better. The redstone contraptions are pointless and so easily avoided in the jungle temple that it makes me weep. It wont even kill you. The jungle one is very well hidden, though. I do enjoy the hunt trying to find one....for about 5 minutes until I feel like nuking the biome until I see it. The desert one is even worse. Seriously, WHO IS GOING TO STEP ON A PRESSURE PLATE IN THE MIDDLE OF A TINY ROOM UNDER THE MAIN FLOOR OF A TEMPLE?! Only someone who has never played, never watched, and never heard about it would do that. Add some temples to biomes that have nothing yet. Add an ice/snow temple in the tundra.
The Nether. Oh my god. Please, for the love of god, FIX. THIS. MESS. The Nether is a quick in-out to grab some netherwart (if you make potions), blaze rods, glowstone, and wither skulls. After that, it's left untouched, well, for my friends and I at least. This world. This, Minecraft Hell, can be so much better. Add SOMETHING. I don't even have much to say. If I listed off ideas, I could go on and on. This world is so empty. DO SOMETHING.
Dimensions In General. Yes, we have the Nether. As I just explained, it sucks and we really don't like it (at least I don't). The End has it's small benefits, but after the Ender Dragon, then what? Maybe a ender pearl farm? We have the Hell dimension of Minecraft, so why not a Heaven? We've all seen the Ather (<-did I spell that right? xD) mod out there. Another dimension would be good though. Another idea is to make it so the portal is connected to the End or the Nether. So maybe the materials to activate the portal come from the nether and the main world and after defeating the Ender Dragon, it opens up a portal you can activate that leads you to this new dimension with it's own boss. Just an idea.
Bosses. We have two bosses: The Ender Dragon and the Wither. These guys are great and I got nothing against them. I just want MOREEEEE. Maybe a boss you can fight toward the beginning of the game. For those of you that have seen/played Cube World, we could have the smaller bosses that aren't main ones, but more side ones. Like a zombie you can find wandering around that is better than the rest, and something makes him stand out. He could also be able to do something extra, like he has the ability to create regular zombies to help him. I personally love that idea.

The nether could use a little more but the recent quartz adds more reason to go there.
Temples do need improvements. The problem is; you can just change the room once. We will learn the room and then be bored with it. They need some sense of randomness to them eg. a maze, a jumping puzzle, or something else (all with randomly placed traps of course)
There are already 2 mini bosses: spider jockeys and chicken jockeys. Also, mobs with enchanted armor and weapons are challenges of their own.
Bosses should be savored. Beating the bosses in creative mode or using cheats to get to them will ruin the experience. I personally, have not beaten the Wither. I have not even seen a wither with my own two eyes. I made the choice to see and defeat a wither only though survival mode. I made the mistake of ruining the experience of killing the ender dragon by killing him in creative mode.
There does need to be more, the game may not have a plot but it should at least have several types of bosses you can come across to fight and then take their loot.
