Well firstly, what are you doing thats making you bored, are you playing lots of pvp minigames like sky wars and survival games, play something were the genre is generally different, I got bored as the only server i even new was skyblock.net, and trust me, that was boring, if you want a server with a jamed packed amount of games, e.g mineplex and hypixel. If you play them continuously for about a week ago, you will suck all of the fun out of themif you play again, so if you get slightley bored, change the serveor minigame.
Maybe if you always go on servers, try out a mod, the 2 best websites for downloading (my opinion) mods are the technic platfor and this website. There are lots of good mods out there and lots have servers e.g Pixelmon, Hexxit and Tekkit, in Pixelmon is basicly the same as pokemon but just mixed into minecraft but without the gyms and Citys. If you want to create this, make a server and make all the citys and gyms yourself, select gym leaders yourself (actuall minecraft players) who go on your server alot, as the mod gives you badges. With hexxit, you can liturerly just keep exploring into the different dimensions, crafting recipies, and even more, technechly the same with tekkit.
If you are getting bored of all of this, try building something amazing and posting it on planetminecraft (I have seemed to do the opossite), try getting the most subscribers, levels, views and dowloads as possible. If you think your are really bad at building, build something you have  never builded before, out of your imagination.
IF you are getting bored of all of this, try from the start, if this process has only taken you a week or 2, you need to search much harder or just start the whole process all over again, maybe you have forgottern what to do on sky wars, and now find it fun, there mught be more mods, servers, ideas when you do different things.

This 'tactik' certainly helps me have my full experiance, in playing minecraft.
