So guys theres been an issue on pmc that has been annoying me alot and i know many other pmc'ers have expressed there dislike to this.
And the problem is...
So 2 new rules have been introduced to pmc Recently that have both affected me and others.
No1.
you cant post contests as blogs, but as forum posts.
No2.
you cant post art as single blogs anymore, all artworks i make or others such have sabretooth have to post our art in one blog now.
So the first rule, i sort of agree with. i understand that contests cog up the blog page sometimes and they do belong as forums. so scrap that that rule is fine.
But Rule No2. This is annoying me extremely.
So we can all agree making a skin is like art right? or a build, a texture pack, creative writing or rants and blogs. they are all single pieces of art. and have a single page so people can comment and appreciate that piece of art. It would be strange to have to post all your skins in one post right? they would never get seen, as everyone would see the single skin post and probably not see it again.
And what would happen if you make stunning builds, and you had to post them all in the same place! you would spend large amounts of time creating your projects just to see the'll be bundled together with all your other work.
everyone could only diamond all your work once and not again.
So what makes artworks so different? A skin is ART and a drawing or digital drawing is ART. So why do we have to post all our art in one place? im calling out to you moderators, if i follow these new rules i can almost garuntee that if start posting all my avatars in one blog that some people will comment once sying something like "great work" but never again. not many people will be able to keep up with my work as it wont come up on their 'my subscribtions' feed, Or if it does, they will most likely not look; having of seen it before.
So im calling out to you mods. im gonna send this to some Moderators that i know and some i havnt ever spoken to.
cause this isnt right. and it needs to change.
i wont be posting my art again until i can have something conclusive that will explain why this is the way it is, or until i it is changed.
ill still be here on the website, and ill still post skins, but i wont be posting my avatars or artworks till this is changed

ill be putting my blog up soon to put all my arts in.

You know you can use the update blog when new art is added to your blog, and get it more popular right?This rule should not be a problem.

(I probably wouldn't anyway, there's always that one guy saying "get your butt on deviantART" and just my luck that it happened to be a moderator that one time...)
Seondly, you sound like you are EXP hungry. You are greedy. You just want more EXP so you can level up and become popular. Let me tell you something. Actually, maybe a couple things. You could be level 1, and not be popular, and you could be level 70 and not be very popular. Popularity comes from the work you do. If you do quality work, you will be recognized. At the end of the day, EXP means nothing. Instead of doing artwork that isn't even Minecraft related and posting it here, get a DeviantArt and link it on your profile, and tell your subs that is where you will be posting for now on. EXP has clearly corrupted this site and it's members, because all people want and think is that "If I get more EXP, I'll become popular!" I doesn't work that way.
