PMC is very different from other minecraft community sites. It’s very easy to get a close relationship with the community and even easier to make friends. To get the maximum recognition on your submissions and increase the chances of gaining more exp, here are some good suggestions and guidelines on how it can be done.

Get recognized

People post many submissions every day and it can be hard to get your own projects recognized. For the average member, a good looking project works well. But sometimes this cant be enough. Even though you used a lot of time on your submission, doesn’t mean its going to get much attention. Members and visitors are the only ones who can increase your exp level. With so many people around the world surfing through Minecraft sites such as PMC, you will get some views on your content. But for the most part, members have a bit higher expectations.

The best way to advertise your submissions out there is to make more social bonding’s with the community. How? Try to get more active in the chat or in the forums where members interact more with each other. Everything that you do with the community gives you that extra boost of popularity you need.

Getting your pro membership on PMC

Give back to the community

As you already know, becoming more social with the members helps a lot to improve your popularity. You can show off your abilities by joining contests that are held by PMC or members in the forum section. You should also check other members submissions and give your opinion/feedback on it. This lets them know you are checking out for their content and with the energy you throw out there, you will always get it back in some way of form.
Feedback/comments (How it should be done)

Have a good spirit
Stay happy and be nice when you promote yourself. This trend works for most people. It sounds easy, but might be difficult for some as these things work better naturally.

Image
To maintain a good image on PMC is showing yourself as a good example. Stand 100% for everything you do and say. Make sure you do read through one persons blog when you give them your full critical feedback, or try to play someone’s map and don’t judge it from the pictures if you only have comments on the visual. Promote yourself as someone you would admire.

With all this being said, I am quite confident that this tutorial can help your submissions grow more popular each time you post on pmc. If you have some trouble getting recognized on pmc, try this first. It can take some time, but that’s just how it usually works. Thank you for reading and have a blessed day.

You could say that this applies to everything, not just on PMC. Social media, such as Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, etc., and even real life. Everyday, people struggle and strive in order to put themselves out there so that they could be known and so that they could have a name for themselves.

Maybe, but creativity here is limited since all those social medias applying to everything. Its much simpler to work with these rules since you are not exposing your personality, but more your creativity and this new person everyone is about to know. On social media you mostly have people that know more about your personal life. And now everybody can be as open here as on facebook for example. Makes these guidelines easier to use maybe.
Dont your agree :)?

OBJECTION!

Mr. Xoyjaz, I think you're forgetting one little thing, and that is that there are many more sites like Planet Minecraft than you would think! Look at tumblr, the steam forums. It's the same thing, but with a different target audience (Or could you say Planet Minecraft is the same thing as them?).

TAKE THAT!
(if you think I'm being rude it's because it's a phoenix wright thing)

Haha thank you for this comment.
Well, I can say that I use tumblr a lot since I have 2 pages there and I know steam.
If you are going to put PMC in that box, you have yourself a bunch of other sites as well ^^ But you need to look at the game we are talking here. Which is Minecraft. What other site gets this much submission posted + forum posts every day? What other site has such easy and tight connection to the pmc staff team? I mean, this chat is so good that you can almost ask any common or special question and you get it right away :) I am just applying to pmc and its community which is unique in many ways. I mean, I just made a blog about the site. I have made a lot of blogs about the site, and many other people have done it. Thats how special it is =D

Steam forums.
If you want proof of the mod to member connection, check out the steam forums. You want submission and forum posts? Check out the artwork section.
But I see your point.
