intro.
I'm a very big blogger. I don't blog for anything but for my own writing, but I think it would be good if bloggers got recognized and or popular on PMC. I don't see why they don't, but with a lot of the hate in the blogging section, there could definitely be some reasons why.
why?
So why don't us bloggers get popular? One reason I think this happens is because the general thought of the blogging section is dumb crap about servers and spam to meet the character limit. But why aren't we given a chance? I've seen many bloggers with great blog posts, (i.e. Whoever01) that should get popular but aren't widely known around PMC, like Leostereo is because of his skinning.
Another reason could be just because the blogging section seems to be the least popular place on pmc. It's full of writing, sometimes not even about MC, and sometimes people just aren't in the mood for it. But that doesn't mean that you don't give credit to these bloggers who spend tons of time on blogs.
how?
So how can we fix this? It's pretty easy if you think about it. Just get everyone to get to the blog section. Sounds easy enough, correct? No. It's really hard. PMC is focused on texture packs, servers, skins, projects and mods. Everything except blogging. It's mostly just us bloggers sitting in the blogging section. We need these people to become popular, even if they do have a low level. Some great bloggers on PMC get no credit for anything but skinners and modders get tons of diamonds and levels.
the end.
If you plan on becoming a blogger, welcome to the land of unpopular writing. I hope your in it for the joy of writing like me, and not to become popular, cause if you are, you're in for a big disappointment.

PS:I changed my blogging layout a bit, give me suggestions and stuff in the comments!

And they took weeks
Have you even seen the popular reel lately? Everything is covered in pretty good writing work. You are an example of someone who is so ignorant about the blogging section that you don't even give us a chance.
go to pop reel right now, and see a whiny topic
On the topic of people thinking more critically about the blog section, i think it's kinda justified since if you look at the blog section it is true that there's way more effortless content and spamming going on than in other sections.
Also in my personal opinion a blogger doesn't really have to work the same amount of time and put as much work into something than for example a builder has to. It simply takes way more time and planning to build a good project than to just write something, so i do have to admit i do judge them differently, but i don't see why you shouldn't since they just aren't the same thing, and probably everyone does.
