Lately, I've been hearing a lot about people leaving the site. Its mainly coming from my friends, but I see the occasional blog from someone I don't know. There are many reasons for people leaving, like too many haters, stupidity of the community or they are just getting bored of the site. We can change that, if we just put our minds to it.

Now, haters are everywhere. Just trolling and trying to make you feel bad. They feed off sadness. Trolls are just here to make us feel bad, and that is their only purpose. They feed off sadness and anger, because it makes them happy to see that they are getting to you. They are sadists. Sadists are someone who enjoys seeing others in pain or sadness. For example, one of my friends is getting bullied on their submissions. They are thinking of leaving PMC because there is just too much hate. There is one thing Skrillex taught me: "There will be hate, but there are people who love it. So forget the haters and focus on the people who like it." So, if everyone just ignores the trolls, they will eventually die out. We need to be optimistic.

I really don't have much to say about stupidity in the community, because I'm trying not to offend people, so I will keep this short. People in this community can be stupid sometimes. It is mainly breaking of the rules. It could be spam in the chat, stealing skins or texturepacks, or posting offensive things. Why do people break the rules though? Well, there is two reasons: They don't know the rules (but they should) or they are breaking them just to be a troll. This causes the moderators grief, and it affects some of us in the community as well. It is annoying and stupid. The community is growing more stupid everyday. But we need to change that, I don't know how yet, either it will be mods being way more strict, or some other way. We just need to flag the submissions that are against the rules and move on with our lives. No one should be quitting because of this.

People getting bored of the site. That is my last point. There is no way we can prevent this, because people have their own opinions. People are getting bored because things truly amazing rarely get posted on this site. Now, I'm not forcing you guys or anything, but we just need to try harder to impress people. Instead of making a skin that has been done 50 times, create something original. Instead of building a plain boring house, be creative and make something that has never been done before. Instead of creating a 4x4 boring texturepack, create a beautiful HD one. We just need to believe in ourselves and others. Encourage people, don't put them down. Becase hate crushes dreams, and crushed dreams mean no creativity. We need to believe.

I'm trying to shine light on this situation, trying to bring hope to ones who have lost it. Ignore the haters, help the moderators take care of the rule breakers and believe in yourself. That is what you guys should have learned from reading this today. We need to come together in justice and help the ones in need, help the community, and help ourselves. We need to be optimistic. We shouldn't quit. We should try.
