Why is minecrafft offline?

For some reason when I log on to minecraft it shuts down and I hae to play offline I look at the servers and it says that there are people playing on them. Why is it doing taht to me? Please comment to tell me how to fix!

PS. I tried to force update but I need to be logged in apperently when it say cannot connect and you play offline it dosent count as playing normaly!

Minecraft isnt down...

You have to try it again and again...

I cant logg in so I doesnt think that Minecraft is offline...

just attempt to logon again, usually it does it once and then after trying a couple more times it corrects itself and says "oops nope my bad" and logs you in properly.

Just wait for an hour or so and see it should be fixed automaticly..

But if it doesent just try to connect connect it may work one out of 100

so you atleast can force update!

Just give it some time, it happened to me. Did it say "Too many failed login attempts" or did it say "Wrong Id/Password" or "Cannot Connect"?
