Recently, people began to talk about how Mojang's new EULA began to ruin Minecraft.
What is the EULA you speak of?
In case you havent heard of it, Mojang's new EULA is their revised End-User License Agreement, which now more explicitly states that servers may not sell items in any way, or force players to donate for game-changing perks. This means kits, items, and anything else that changes the gameplay for everyone. This causes players to actually donate for nothing in return, or so that everyone may gain something from it, or that there is a chance that anyone can get it. (Network Boosters, randomly-spawned chests, etc.)
Why it makes everything better.
Like I said before, it forces players to actually donate, in which they don't in particular get anything game-changing. While yes, this does completely and utterly crush a lot of servers, this filters out all the ordinary, boring, mediocre servers that isnt good enough to receive real donations. The ones left standing? The good, well-made and moderated servers that are fair and fun for all.
In Conclusion.
In conclusion, the new EULA makes all minecraft servers much better, filtering out the mediocre ones from the actual good ones. This makes it more enjoyable overall, and should be seen as such.

If they enforce it it's going to kill multiplayer. It won't make ANYTHING better.
