WinterWorks wasn’t always WinterWorks though. So to fully understand the concept, we must begin at the origin. Take yourself back to the first epoch. Then, a little further. Where did the world of Skwon come from? Well, it came from a man know known as The Scribe. Throughout this world, you can see his influence… and even more than influence, you can see the magic. This magic was harnessed by King Flint, in the form of Gems, which, became his demise. His descendants inherited the Gems and gathered more magic throughout the ages. Then came the Cold and the Wraiths. All seemed lost… until about 3200 years later. The company began with Thaddeus Swann and his quest for the Gems. This endeavor led to the creation of Swann Industrial Enterprises, a legitimate business, and also a cover for secret experiments and weapons production. SIE made the best military equipment in the world. But then the dark side of the company was exposed and it was taken over by the government of Rakar and became Consolidated Construction Bureau, which continued to produce military equipment AND undergo the same illegal activities but in a government sanctioned environment until the Enlightening. At this point the company had the largest stockpile of military vehicles in the world, loads of futuristic tech, the lost Gems, and over 100 square kilometers of underground facilities. But with the Disposal of Chief Enginer Aleksandyrkof, it had no leader. Until Winters_Bane appeared. One of the Enlightened, Bane was able to take the alien star fleet and attack New Rakar with it. From the bridge of the Battlecruiser Wasp, Bane had a wish, which turned into a dream, which turned into him seizing all the assets of the ex CCB, and to defeat the terrorists who called themselves Rakarians. The company needed a new name: WinterWorks. We produce military tech which we think is revolutionary. Thanks to our patented ion hover engine and light beaming technology, we have made quite the name for ourselves. Now partnered with TravisaInc, an advanced applied science company, WinterWorks is developing new technologies: the Projekts. Projekt 220 WILL be completed. In the meantime, have patience- and a Melkshake.

The Enlightened
-A group of post-humans, we claim superior intelligence to the dull beings who live in the “seen” realm. We live in the Continuum, the fabric connecting all conscious life. Our bodies are just there to be a facade for our mind, so why keep them. The Enlightened have new hosts for their mind, cyborg bodies full of “improvements” made using the latest in technology. The mind ascends to the Continuum where it can interact with “seen” objects just like a pair of hands -with the proper training of course. The Enlightened possess the Key to the alien fleet. We rule the galaxy -but from the shadows in the “seen” realm and everywhere in the Continuum.

The Continuum
-The “unseen” realm. It is as real as the “seen”. Only mind can operate here and physical limitations no longer exist. WinterWorks can harness the Continuum for our virtual reality applications.

The Scribe
-The author of the known universe. Little else is known about him, at least publicly. According to some sources, the figure most attributed to being King Flint’s son is actually The Scribe. The texts of Altaer are the greatest source of knowledge about The Scribe.

The Altaer Texts
-A series of scrolls from the third epoch, they contain the records on every theory or known fact of The Scribe. And a great recipe for chicken.
